Last two times here I have waited for cars. Last time I was told 10-15 minutes and it was an hour and 10 min. Car was great this time.Last time the car smelled terrible but they made it right even though I told them not to worry about me- just fix it for the next person.Staff is always nice at this location.

After being in a car accident, we were told to go to this national location. We were told they did not have enough clean cars for the next day. We were told to take a car with the trunk smashed in to Grand Rapids (an hour away). We were told we were out of luck and there was nothing they could do.

Returned my car within 24 hours, but am being charged for two days because this branch closed at 3pm on Sunday, and apparently all after hours drop offs don't get count as being returned until the next day. I understand COVID is causing shorter hours, but that should not cost me $125 out of my own pocket.

I rented a car to drive from MI to PA due to COVID flight restrictions. The on-line system worked very well. The employee at the desk was very helpful and I was able to upgrade to an SUV. Administration was quick and seemless. The only issue I had was that I purchased a toll device for the drive, but the device did not function thru any of the toll stations. Luckily, the lines were not very long and it didn't end up being a big issue. Had I been going thru Chicago, it would have been a bigger problem. I forgot to note that when I turned the car in.

Always a good experience when I rent from National. Vehicles a clean and the rates a good. I researched this rental, Hertz and Budget were higher.

I've been renting cars for decades from National (and Others) and I've never had this bad of an experience with any rental. I felt like I rented the car from "Rent a Wreck".I rented a full size SUV.I called two days prior to make sure the Make/Model I desired would be available and ready.On the pickup day/time (10am), the make/model I wanted was not available. They had something different that I was reluctant to take, but had no choice.The Vehicle they did have for me, also was not ready. I waited over an hour for them to do maintenance (Oil change).The inside was not cleaned or prepped. I found personal items inside the Vehicle from the prior rental. Because of covid, I PPE'd up and took it upon myself to clean it, and I spent 2 hours cleaning and dis-infecting the car.The tires were not at proper inflation either.During the week, the automatic mirrors kept adjusting on their own when driving. This was frustrating while going down the expressway.I returned the car cleaner than I got it.I received a $100 credit for my troubles.Hertz will probably get my business next time.

Car was dirty, and the SUV I requested was taken by a customer before me in line, even though I had specifically requested that vehicle for my bachelor party. After about an hour of "cleaning cars" and "processing returns" I finally received a vehicle that had 3 rows of seats,(because thats what I requested) but the vehicle itself was disgusting. There were sticky stains on the seats, and the center console had food stains, the seats weren't wiped down, and the floors were dirty. The vehicle was never ran through a car-wash, so the exterior was filled with smashed bugs, dirt, and grime. I was very disappointed with the team, especially after making me wait an entire hour for my reservation. They said that the reason it was taking so long was because it needed to be cleaned, but when I got in, it was nasty as I stated above. The previous time I rented a vehicle, National tried to hit me with a damage/loss claim that I had to overturn and THANK GOD my fiancee took a goofy picture infront of the rental. It really seems like National doesnt want my business. Because if they did, you'd think I would receive better service than this. Very disappointing.

I rented a car for just a few hours, picked and returned on the sameday. No issues then a week later I get a letter in the mail saying the car was damaged. Detroit MI airport location is trying to pull a scam on me.
