Went to Ritter’s Frozen Custard the other night. Some of us liked it and some thought it lacked flavor. It’s wintertime so off season and maybe just an off night.

Never serve real chocolate ice cream. They give you vanilla with chocolate syrup. very disappointing

Came here yesterday with my fiance. It had been on my want-to-go list for quite awhile. I got the peanut butter mountain. For how much you get it is pricey, and it wasn't as good as it could've been in my opinion.

Wish I would have come sooner! Ice cream/ custard was delicious, service was fast, not too expensive, there's DRIVE THRU, and a small but pleasant playground in the back, with adult seating. My 2 kids & I loved it, and will be back soon with friends and family before warm weather ends.

Worst custard cream experience of my time on this earth. I had ordered 30 minutes ago and they served what seemed like hundreds of customers before me.Moreover, the customer service experience I’ve received has been appalling. I went back and asked about the progress of my order, and received an angry glare and a glass window slammed in my face.I had come by expecting a good time with some friends, and left in mood nobody can comprehend. Disgusted. Appalled. Flabbergasted. Etc.On top of this all, the bugs around are attacking me from every direction; I think they’re locusts.Would not recommend for anyone seeking a great ice cream experience.

Best custard I've had in a long time. I got a chocolate malt with peanut butter, it tasted incredible. The people are nice and quick as they can be. Plus it's completely outdoors with a play set for children and bike racks too.

I have been a loyal customer at Ritter's (Portage, MI) for at least 10 years and it is because of their delicious Icecream and friendly service. During my visit today, I was disappointed in how a member of the staff handled a mistake with my order. I am not sure if she was the manager or owner, but during the confusion of getting my order and charges correct, I was still unsure if I was receiving the correct change back, especially after she mistakenly gave me back the wrong amount the first time. As I was still trying to figure it out in my mind, someone must've spoken to her through the headset microphone she had on and she says loud enough for me to hear, "she's arguing about a dollar." I felt this to be quite rude to allow me to hear, especially since I was not "arguing" and after I waited patiently for them to make the corrections to the "mistakes" that they had made. Afterward, I relayed to her that I just wanted it to be right, regardless of if it were only a dollar, as I feel the dollars (and loyalty cards) I use to pay for my order are earned and mine. In all my years of being a customer, I have never been spoken about in this way. I'm hoping that it will be the last and that it was just an off day.
