About The Salvation Army Family Store & Donation Center
The Salvation Army Family Store & Donation Center is a large thrift store, described as huge and resembling a past warehouse. It serves as a go-to destination for many shoppers, who often find cool things and good deals, though this requires some time and luck. Prices are viewed as reasonable overall, but are also noted to be all over the place. The store is clean and known for its ethics, with helpful and friendly employees. Shoppers recommend looking for general items rather than something specific. A common strategy is to focus on the weekly color-tagged clothing for a 50% discount, though clothes are sorted by color, not size. The store supports a good cause, with proceeds funding rehabilitation centers. Some drawbacks include the lack of a direct store phone line for customer inquiries and occasional price increases on items like books.
This thrift store is decent overall. The prices are higher than you’d expect for a thrift store, especially since most items are donated. The colored tag deals are at least the only good thing about this location.
On the bright side, the staff are kind and helpful.

Writing this review specifically to give a big shout out to Nicole! Every time we walk in and see her I get excited because I know I will have a good experience when I check out. She always makes conversation and I’ve enjoyed getting to know her when I stop in.
