Meh. I don't hate it, but I wouldn't go out of my way to shop here. Way over priced. Reminds me of a thick woman's Victoria Secret.

Both of the ladies that work there are fantastic. They went above and beyond to help me find long sleeve shirts.

Staff is friendly and extremely helpful. I ship my online orders here to avoid shipping charges. You get an additional discount if you pick up in store and make another purchase. Ordered a super cute swimsuit online, and found some cute clearance on mega sale!

Awful location. If I could give this one negative stars, I would. I had a call on Wednesday that my order had finally arrived at the store. I go to pick it up Saturday- Torrid in any direction is at least a hour from me- and the store is closed. No one bothered to let me know not to come in. I made the trip for nothing. Customer service was able to rectify things, but the runaround was ridiculous. Still love Torrid’s clothes, but this location is pathetic.

Absolutely love this location. Every single one of the ladies are above and beyond helpful and always give great suggestions. Alyssa and Liz are phenomenal. Not to take away from the others I just don't know their names! Wonderful experiences each and every time.

So when shopping in the store on October 6, 2021 I had a pleasant experience. I wanted a bralette that was unavailable in store so the cashier assisted me in ordering it online. I paid for it in the store.....At some point, I'm not sure when my order got canceled. I tried calling customer service they never picked up. I chatted with someone on torrid.com for 3 freaking hours which was a total nightmare. They refused me a refund, they refused to ship the item. They never even offered to ship something else. Literally nothing. The chick couldn't even send a confirmation email to prove it was canceled..... when I asked how to contact corporate she gave me a fake email address....I called the portage store and told an associate about what had happened with the incident. I left my name and phone number asking for the store manager to call me (she never did)....A few days later I visit the store in person. I had thought / hoped they would give me store credit after all they were the ones who collected my money for the purchase. NOPE!!! Nothing.Torrid as a whole is an awful company. I still have not received a refund and they refuse to give me a product or in store cash or literally anything! But they have no problem keeping my money!! Do not shop here especially never without physically holding what you are paying for. Hopefully this company goes out of business like they deserve to for ripping people off!!!

I went to torrid the other day looking for a bathing suit that I had seen online. I figured I would try it on instead of ordering it for pick up to prevent having to make another trip to the mail if it didn’t fit. I had just came from Burlington with my daughter and I bought her a few items from there. I’ll admit that I looked a mess, it was Monday and I wasn’t really dressed to impress. So I go in and they greet me and ask what I’m looking for. They were being very friendly and helping me figure out what bathing suit to get. When I saw the suit that I seen online I didn’t like it as much and didn’t feel like trying anything on. So my daughter and I ended up leaving. On the way out the lady told me to have a good night and stared at my Burlington bag. I told her “there is nothing in here”.They should stop stereotyping because I was going to really buy a bathing suit, I’m going to Tampa for Memorial Day and rue 21 had just canceled my swim order bc they were out of stock. This made me feel really uncomfortable. It made me feel like the friendliness from the sales associate was fake because she thought that I came in to steal with my Burlington bag that is basically see through.I left and ended up shopping and children’s place and Victoria’s Secret. The 3 stars are for the torrid brand alone. I love torrid and the way stuff fits. I’m thinking this location should incorporate some sales associates of all races. Try mixing it up.
