The YMCA Portage Branch offers pleasant staff, clean equipment, and a peaceful atmosphere without large crowds. Facilities include a nice selection of free weights, weight machines, cardio machines, an indoor track, and showers. There are great group fitness classes, easy online booking, and extensive childcare options with an amazing childcare room. Membership includes access to another branch with a sauna, steam room, and hot tub. Some notes include limited open swim times, no sauna/steam room/hot tub on-site, and a layout that requires traversing the building for different equipment. It is a family-friendly place with many activities for children.

Everyone is pleasant here, equipment is clean and childcare room is amazing! My little guy does so well with the caretakers. My only gripe is there is no lat pull down, seated pull or stair master
