Fireside Inn offers a charming and nostalgic getaway, reminiscent of a summer camp for adults. Nestled near Grand Lake, it features a historic 100-year-old log cabin that attracts families year after year, with many returning for over 20 years. The atmosphere is peaceful and family-friendly, encouraging guests to disconnect from technology, as there is no internet or TV. Visitors enjoy activities like kayaking and reading on the porch, all while appreciating the scenic views. The inn provides a homelike experience with cozy rooms and shared baths, making it ideal for groups. Meals at the Fireside restaurant are a highlight, with all-you-can-eat breakfast options and a set dinner menu that receives high praise, particularly for the French toast. The staff is welcoming and creates a sense of community among guests. Although some guests wish for credit card payment options, the overall experience is one of simplicity, warmth, and lasting memories, making Fireside Inn a beloved destination for families and friends alike.
Felt like Girl Scout Camp as an adult. Read a book on the porch & enjoyed the view of Grand Lake. Kayaks were provided for an evening paddle. Food & service was enjoyable. Many families were there. Peaceful atmosphere!! Would like to make this an annual get away.

This is a unique and very homelike place to stay. We booked at a very busy time, so we were in the upstairs part which is several rooms in a hallway with a shared bath, each room had a dresser and bed and were very much like a bedroom in a big house. Perfect for 4 guys on a fishing trip.

We love coming to eat at the Fireside restaurant with the lake view. At breakfast, it is all you can eat for one price, whatever you order. Highly recommend the French Toast, it is always amazing!
