I haven't been to the Stables in many, many years. When we arrived, they were not too busy. One couple had walked in before us. We put out order in, very simple order. While waiting, 3 different couples came in. 30 minutes later, we still didn't have our food. However, the 3 couple that arrived after us and after we put our order in received their food before we did. When we asked the waitress if something happened in the back with tickets getting messed up, her replay was very rude and unprofessional. We mentioned that 3 people received their food before we did. She told us their order was easier. My friend and I ordered a cheeseburger and a burrito. I'm not sure how that was difficult. My friend enjoyed her Burrito. The burger wasn't that great. My fries were cold. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this establishment again. I could of over look the food not being good if the service would have been better.

Food was absolutely fabulous. Our waitress got very snotty when ask why 3 tables that had arrived long after us, got their food and we were still waiting after 35 min. I ordered A wet burrito and my friend ordered a burger. When I ask her she was not very polite in her response at all, very passive aggressive. We were told that other people ordered food that was faster and easier to make...oh OK then?If you play keno I highly suggest scanning your own ticket or asking for the slip that says your not a winner.Prices were ok but some of the portions were small. $9.99 for a small order of fried pickles is a bit high. .75 for each sauce and 6.99 for just a plain order of French fries. It appears they are trying to recover their investment a lot faster than then a food establishment should. My bill was $21.00 for a $12.99 burrito and a sprite. Im still not sure where all the added cost came from as they don't itemize your ticket. They also pass the credit card processing fee on to their customers which also tells me they aren't as focused on the customer service as they should be. Very disappointing because the food was good.

I went here recently for lunch and ordered burger basket which is a burger and fries. It was decent. I got my food pretty quickly as well. The lady who served me was polite.Update: Been going back every other weekend for dinner. This place definitely livens up at night. Go on a Karaoke night instead. Also, their Double Cheeseburger is great; and the hot fudge Sunday with brownie is very delicious. I feel like you can’t go wrong with that. Definitely recommend them for food in Quincy.

The Stables is one of the best restaurants in Quincy. It has a great atmosphere and we enjoy eating there as often as we can! My favorite is the Stable Burger and my family loves the taco salad!

Great place to meet up with friends. The food was delicious, and the service was great. I got the fish and chips, and it didn't disappoint at all. Portion was just right.

The waitress did a fantastic job! Nice environment, with a rustic feel. The food was very good! The portion sizes were very small. That would be the only downside. Nice dive bar overall.

What I ordered from Stables this time had a lot to be desired, which will keep me from ordering from their RESTURANT anytime soon. I ordered a stables club on toasted Texas toast bread w/ cooked onions on it & a slice of raw onion on the side along with French Fries, then mymy husband ordered a stables burger & French Fries. For both it ended costing us $28. We wouldn’t mind paying that much money for our food if we felt like our food was honestly worth it. I had to regrill my sandwich before I could eat it, because the bread looked like it barely touched the grill & it looked as if it had NO butter on the bread to even grill it to begin it, besides the bacon needed to be grilled more because it too was not done & far from crisp. I hope they do better in the future with cooking peoples food because that is part of their lively hood & they definitely needto appease their customers.

(Updated review) Ordered dinner for my husband and boys, and just a side of fried pickles for myself (pov-four months pregnant). I assume they were homemade "pickles" and they weren't quite pickled; tasted & smelled like cucumbers... and I know this is picky but I do not like cucumbers, only pickles (ha). My husband spoke up for me in hopes I could maybe choose a different appetizer after tasting just 3 fry-shaped "pickles". The waitress first argued my objection stating they were in fact pickles, encouraged me to keep eating them, and refused any help to resolve the matter. Have not been back and will never recommend. Another place that went downhill after changing hands unfortunately.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly, despite a small kids menu.
