Used 186networks for several years. Their up time has gotten great in recent years. Their support is stellar. Over four months this summer our internet went out 2 times and support was quite helpful. One time it turned out a guest had replugged the internet into the wrong port on our WIFI - support figured this out over the phone. The other time was post storm where their tower was down for a couple hours.

Less than a week ago, I decided to change Internet companies and went with 186. At the same time I bought a new router. And changed from cable TV to using just an app.
I had issues probably because of the user and 186 was SO helpful in getting everything in my home up and running. It involved sending two different techs, Trevor and Aiden to my house. They were extremely bright and professional, and so helpful. In addition, they were able to explain things to me in layman’s terms.
At this point, I am delighted with having made this change and can’t say enough about 186 customer service !

Honestly this internet is the worst I've ever seen. Half the time it doesn't work and the other half of the time I can barley get enough signal strength to watch a show so I pay every month for something I can't use and have to use my Hotspot on my phone anyways. I've called and they can't do anything about it there customer service is horrible and I will be dropping the so called internet they provide.

Each of the gentlemen helping with the process of getting my internet hooked up were incredibly patient with all my questions and very informative with their answers. They were all very polite, friendly, and efficient. I now have a great internet connection and am looking forward to having them as my internet provider.

*Edit* I forgot I had reviewed this it's been a 2 years since I wrote that review, I have fiber internet through them and that's the way to go if you can get it. Much more reliable much faster in general very pleasant experience now.
I'm rewriting this review, it's 2:11 in the afternoon 11 hours 49 minutes before 2020, I cannot connect to Xbox Live, Hulu isn't working either because the internet blows. Been gaming on my phone's hotspot as it's faster and more reliable. I cannot wait until Truestream comes out here, 1 GB download 1 GB upload for $100/month we already pay almost $60/month for 3-11 download whenever it wants to work and 1 upload. Again 2005 called they want their speeds back.

Been with them for awhile now, but lately it seems to To be going down more lately and it seems to be Friday night or Saturday when they're not openSo I have to go to the weekend without internet till MondayI hope they fix this issue I'll drop put it back up to five stars

We switched from Hughes net to 186 three or four years ago as it became available to our whole Island lake community. It has been working for us great. Might take a while to get service or it might go out from time to time but it is a whole lot better than dial up or satellite. Our family of 4 uses it every day from my home office, kids with school and collage, online gaming, video, steaming movies, etc. Works great and has been for years. Looking forward to getting the Fiber optic service.
