I tried this wash for the first time tonight. I’ve lived in the area for about a year, and have driven past it multiple times. With the harsh weather lately, I wanted to get the salt off of my pick up truck so I decided to give this a go. I paid 16 bucks for the better wash. The photos are the results. I understand that it is freezing outside. But my mirrors looked like this before I even was finished through the wash. Before the drying portion was over with. I noticed this and decided to hop out and take a look at the rest of my truck a block or two down the street. Only to find the same residue on the whole front bumper, grill, and wheels. This is not just frozen water. It is a combination of their cleaning and soap products. The drying segment is either is too short, or the rinsing segment is too short. Regardless, that’s not normal. I would’ve had a better result spraying this down by hand at a 25 cent wash bay. Disappointed to say the least.

I have been a member of this car wash for a while now and have been able to make some Concise and concerning observations. I would like to begin by stating that this is a very nice and clean car wash. The employees there do a really good job hosing off prior to the wash. The wash itself gives your car a double wash, per se and almost always comes out squeaky clean. All of the employees that work, both the machines and the tunnels are friendly, courteous, and respectful. However, there are particular times of the day that I visit this car wash and I get stuck in a line that takes 15 to 25 minutes before I even reached a wash tunnel. Nine times out of 10 it is because there is only one side of the wash that’s open as opposed to both. Being that Matick auto wash is relatively new should always have the ability to function at full capacity with both tunnels being open. I find it to be a great and significant inconvenience to wait at such long and extended times due to only one wash tunnel being Open. If the case was that both tunnels are open, and the wash is just busy, then I understand however, being that it is the decision of the managers to simply close one tunnel off for whatever reason is unacceptable. I am going to test my theory regarding the power of Google reviews - to see if the decision-makers decide to hear a patrons concerns and maintain having both tunnels open for all patrons. I don’t feel good giving this business a two star Google review. I want to make it a five star Google review and will do so once my objections are satisfied. Again, wasted time for anybody in the line is a major and concerning inconvenience that not only drags out the day in this very busy world that we live in, but also holds us back From being as efficient as possible.

Been a club member for quite some time. Some things I wish were better are; when staging cars into the wash, wish the folks doing the power washing did the wheel wells even a little bit. During winter months in the vacuum area's the salt put down for the ice ends up in my freshly vacuumed interior, perhaps some ice melted instead of rock salt. There are other things but not really worth mentioning. Otherwise a pretty good place to keep your automobile clean and washed on a regular basis.

The service was exceptional and the express car wash and interior clean was done perfect. I want to thank Terry and Byron specifically for their outstanding work and customer service. These two gentleman deserve to be recognized for their professionalism. I will definitely be back and I will recommend everyone I know to get their vehicles detailed at Matick Auto Wash!

I have been coming to this car wash for a few years now, and each time it is a great experience. Lawrence most recently did an express on my car and as always he was very polite and thorough. Rarely do you go to places like this and expect to have such nice encounters with the employees. If I had to recommend anyone it would be Lawrence. I even offered him a tip and he politely declined and told me they were not allowed to accept them. I think that is completely unfair, and hope they are paid EXCELLENT wages instead. Keep up the great work young man and Matick Auto Wash!

My husband went to get a wax job on our car today we experienced horrible service the car was still dirty they even waxed over tar and tried to tell us it was our paint the manager was very arrogant he has a very rude and provided abhorrent service and said we what we pay for his name is Treyvon he also said it does not matter if we put a review in it won’t affect him. He is affecting the company and not even trying to satisfy his customers. I do not recommend getting anything done from them unless you do it yourself he still offered us no resolution only to rewash car and he guaranteed us that it would not help instead of offering help or providing a refund.

Today I received a full Interior detail on my vehicle!! From the time i walked in and left I received exceptional customer service! They really had my best interest at heart! I worked with Travon who explained everything to me and advised me of an estimated time of when my vehicle would be done! When i went back to pick my vehicle i was very impressed! The car is ALWAYS still dirty when we are done we have to get out and wipe it down then buff it out.. very annoying seeing how we paid $50 for an unlimited monthly Best wash.. Plus, depending on which bay you go in dictates which side of your car gets clean… Gave 3 ⭐️’s because their customer service is ok..

They only have the small heads for the vacuum and the suction needs improving and there were only 5 cars there with me at the time. Also, it would be better if they had an all purpose spray to help clean your vehicle, yep that means you may have to have cloths to use as well.

Been passing this car wash for two months saying I need to try it out. It does look impressive. I also liked the idea of unlimited washes for one price. I pulled up and opted for the $20 exterior wash. I asked the attendant about the monthly plan but told him that I wanted to see how they do on the first wash. One of the areas this wash is supposed to cover is wheels. I had quite a bit of brake dust on them and it's actually the main reason why I stopped in. There are two guys at the beginning with power washers who sprayed the doors and the windshield. Never sprayed the rims. Went through the rest of the wash with another SUV following alarmingly close. I was quick to put it in gear when I got the green light at the end because otherwise, I would have got bumped. ....so what everyone else here is saying about getting bumped is real. Stagger the cars, fellas...it ain't that hard and it wasn't that busy. Back to my story. I get out and review the job and notice that the rims are still coated with brake dust. I pull back around talk to one of the attendants who told me that even though it states that the wash cleans the wheels, none of their brushes goes that low. I told him that the power washers should be spraying the wheels down. It doesn't take a lot of effort to blow surface dust off of a rim with a powerwasher. He said he could spray them for me this time, but told me in so many words that this isn't something likely to happen in the future. I just smiled and left. I've just gotten good with the idea that sometimes you have to pay for an education. No monthly plan for me.So, a few points....1. If the only wheel cleaning you offer happens when water and soap drip from the fender then you can't really say you're cleaning wheels. Don't say you clean wheels if you don't.2. Guys at a carwash with powerwashers should be spraying wheels on a premium exterior wash. I'm not asking that it be to my spec, but I should get the impression that they gave it a shot. I don't really think this is a big ask on a $20 drive thru service.3. If you aren't going to attempt to clean rims, don't put tire shine on. It's trifling.4. Spend more on tire shine. What you use now is disappointing. I can only judge by looking at the front tires, though. Back tires looked untouched.

Had my car fully detailed inside out and paid $269. The job took a 4 hours and the results was worth it! My car literally looks brand new from the inside! The exterior may have been a little better but it’s hard with a black exterior. Overall I’m very pleased with the results!Services: Steam cleaning

Car is clean and the chamois at the end dry it to perfection. Best full detail service in the area. Overall my experience and encounters with Terry, Byron & Jordan have been great. The manager clearly has staff trained. So props there! One of the last express washes to actually prep the car. Overall best wash in Redford.
