Son had a basketball game in the area and figured we would stay the night instead of driving almost 2 hours back home - so glad we did, most of all for finding this spot!!! Such an awesome area and definitely will be back!! Great spot for a staycation or any kind of get away!!!

We had a wonderful first time camping together ❤️ ? We enjoyed the solitude and quite, got plenty of relaxing time done as well as some reading. The Den is a gorgeous camp site that made us feel at home as soon as we stepped in. Thank you so much to Mike and Maddie for the hospitality. Can't wait for our next camping adventure ❤️Nearby activities: The lake is all set with kayaks and other fun water sports, there is a games shed to pick through as well.Food & drinks: The Summer Place was a nice breakfast spot not far from the campground as well as a couple local taverns.

My wife and I had contacted them with late notice for an event that was occurring in Republic, MI. They were extremely helpful, clearly maximizing their flexibility in offering us accommodations. We ended up renting a cabin and it was absolutely beautiful and very comfortable. My only complaint is that we were not able to spend more time exploring their ~120 acres of trails, rivers, and lakes. We cannot wait to visit again!

Exactly what you want and expect from a northern cabin. Ideal location. Stayed in early spring with three friends who are from Germany and I was proud to share a true UP experience. With the new trails being built across the street, this is a a great get away, staycation, and overall experience to share with friends, family and loved ones!P.S. Woke up at 7am because I didn’t want to sleep the day away! Hopped on the paddle boards with my pup then grabbed coffee. A wonderful way of waking up!Rooms: You have to understand what you’re going to experience to enjoy it!Minimalistic, desolate, quiet, comfort, and relaxed.

Noteworthy details: My boyfriend and I absolutely loved staying here! Mike and Madi do such a great job making guests feel comfortable, are super friendly people, and are willing to make recommendations on activities to do in the area. There are many opportunities for fishing and guests are allowed to use the provided watercraft on Juncob lake to explore. The cabin was clean and inviting with a lot of old fashioned charm. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat to enjoy the outdoors, this place is for you. I can’t recommend Pinecrest Northwoods enough!

Our stay at Pinecrest this past June was an absolute dream! My husband, two daughters, and I stayed at the Lakeside with my sister, brother-in-law and their four boy. It accommodated us perfectly. It was clean and adorable. The rooms were spacious and the beds were super comfortable, I slept extremely well. It stayed cool in the cabin even though it was in the 90s while we were there. The kitchen had everything we needed and the internet worked great. We spent a lot of time at the lake. They had a paddle boat, paddle boards, kayaks, beach toys, a row boat, and floaties available, we used them all. The kids loved the floating dock and spent over an hour jumping off it into the water. We went for walks on the trails and the kids found several very special rocks that NEEDED to be brought home with us. ;-)We loved the screened in deck. Time was spent playing games in there and we had dinner in there one night. It's raised and over looking the lake so it provided a lovely breeze. My husband brought his kayak and went down the river, I was able to drive him up stream a bit and he kayaked back. It worked perfectly.I can't say enough about Madi, Mike, and Spencer! Spencer greeted us right away with his "golden smile". (It looks like he is snarling but he is actually just filled with joy.) He is the sweetest. Madi and Mike were very welcoming, they have a relaxed nature and seemed eager to make us as comfortable as possible. They greeted up when we arrived and were pretty much always somewhere nearby if we needed something. I continue to recommend Pinecrest to anyone planning a trip to the UP or wanting to go on a relaxing outdoor vacation. I will absolutely be going back. Madi mentioned that they were hosting a wedding this fall and imagine is will be absolutely breathtaking.
