Best mechanic ever. Did not charge me for a visit where I needed headlights changed. Quick to respond and great customer service

Now don't get too confused, this is about you and your business not me, as a business owner you should know customers don't need your explanation for something they were already in person to experience, next time you try to make a sale do not attempt to talk down to the customer but be more open minded such as when the potential customer says "well that part you googled isn't even for this engine" you would actually listen to them, it would be a better look on you and your business rather than running away and getting defensive (aka throwing a tangent) in reviews when you know very well you can not prevent negativity after the customer walks out unsatisfied ?

Oh and by the way, at least I have the service documentation to have the knowledge I have about certain cars and EVEN more than a so called "master mechanic for 25 years" ?. But yes keep being defensive at least I know a CHILDISH business owner when I see it!

Attempting to prove yourself to a customer with 10 seconds of googling is not how you will make a sale selling used engines, but remember, always ruin a sale by changing the subject into something irrelevant instead of doing your actual job, even if that means getting off a chair grabbing your own equipment to pull an engine off a shelf, going above and beyond is how you make new customers! Sitting back down on Google as the potential customer stands there would be the opposite ?!

These people failed, owner got embarrassed that the customer was right about a particular engine not having an upper oil pan, instead of trying to save time by listening to my request to look at the engine on the ground another time, the dude instead goes to Google keywords to find an upper oil pan for that engine, when thats not what i am trying to buy nor does it have one according to the service manual. So that's just ridiculous , show me the engine I came to purchase or schedule a better time with me, it should have been that simple. But instead you had to completely ignore my request 3 times and walk away after I said for the 3rd time that the ebay listing you are showing me is not for the correct engine nor relevant to what we came to possibly purchase if everything checks out. There is no guarantee buy on a engine that mentions damaged oil pan when there are several undamaged ones around that need minimal inspection beforehand. Learn how to handle customer confrontation, instead of trying to be the person on top when you could be wrong in that discussion. THE DOOR SLAM WAS WELL DESERVED FOR THE DISRESPECT YOU HAVE FOR CUSTOMERS! Oh also, engine replacment was successful without your input or busted engine, hopefully you can have better luck making a sale in the future to someone who knows what they are talking about

Troy is awesome. The best mechanic I have had in years. It's good to see that there are a few honest mechanics left, but not many. Well worth the drive.

I purchased a 2007 Envoy from Richland Auto a few weeks ago and they didn't tell me that the air conditioner and heater would come on at the same time. So, I can't use the car until I get it fixed. The heater won't shut off, unless you turn the air cond. off too. It could cost several hundred dollars to fix. I would call this a junk yard car lot. Richland auto represented the vehicle for a customer, apparently knowing there was a problem with it since they worked on it before.

This was the only place I could find that would rebuild CVT transmissions. Troy is the mechanic that fixed it. Came with a 6 month warranty as well for peace of mind. Only thing to keep in mind is paying by credit card does carry a 4% fee so paying cash is cheaper

UPDATE: I took it pretty hard on these ppl and would like to report that i have been able to make a purchase through them finally. They are very understaffed so if you have a mechanical experience and want to tear cars apart stop on in or facebook message them. Thanks guys. Well i am a local business owner and I called all 3 listed numbers for about 3 weeks every other day or so and never received a answer just voice-mail so I left my name and number and waited another 2 weeks and still got nothing. I noticed that they have a Facebook page about a month later and tried to message them through it and within 5 mins I was answered. I mentioned my problems with the phone but literally got no response my comment was ignored and only "part" related conversation was replied to. I love this place from the past and am severely disappointed that the customer service and connection issues are of no concern. I would spend 3k a month here easily but I guess they don't want money. ?
