We had a key that didn’t work. We were told that we would be given the correct one and wasn’t. Now if we want to move our items, we have to hire a locksmith to get in and then pay to make sure the lock is ok or replaced. Rent keeps going up and is higher than some other places.

Facility is OK. They seem to jack up their rates about every 6 months. They claim it is largely due to improvements being made. I haven't seen any improvements except maybe to their bottom line.Update: I was contacted by SpareBox Storage, and I was very pleased by their response. They worked to put me in a space better suited to my needs along with a considerable reduction in cost. Their customer care just earned them another star.

Called regarding a missing payment issue and I was lucky enough to speak with Shoyan!!!After numerous attempts and speaking to various people I talked Shoyan and he resolved the issue right away, very pleasant and knowledgeable.Was a big relief to finally get this issue resolved thanks to him!

Posting with regret that after U.Store sold out to SpareBox Storage a new price increase has occurred. No longer Senior Discount is honored and Price goes up $25.00 per month additional. Very unhappy ad was not able to speak with a Manager or Supervisor. That's the way it is nowadays. I had not even received a notice it was going up it just went up. What was once fair is know longer fair.

My name is Keith I have a RV which I park at the Gull rd Spare Box storage unit. I have been a customer there for years when they “had” security and good customer service. When I went to get my RV yesterday I discovered the lot was not secure. Then I discovered the catalytic converter had been stolen from my vehicle. After some looking around I found four other Motorhomes had their converters cut off also. About four weeks earlier I had been to the storage facility and discovered the key pad to open the gate did not work at which time I spoke to an employee who advised me the “storm” had knocked out the power and the key pad would be working later the day. How I have talked to others and read other reviews and discovered this lot has been without security for several weeks. I have attempted to contact Spare Box to talk with someone about this situation and they said to file a police report and he would put a note in my file. I have sent an email requesting contact an all I have received is a automated response saying they are to busy and I should here from them in 48 to 72 hrs. They are still advertising “ security” on their web site which is not true.
