Terrible mis-communication with technician guy. Charges $80 for first leak check which other companies absorb into the first fill. Said he would fill it Monday but never showed. I assumed he did as I do trust people. Come to find out we ran out of propane. Had to make an emergency same day fill at $100 and then they even charged me another $100 for a leak test. All started when we said we would send the $80 check for the safety check in the mail. Tech guy said we could. They did not trust us at all!! How they resolve this will decide if we use them again or switch companies. Not good.

Received a fill today after speaking to a very friendly and knowledgeable lady at the office the other day. My husband happened to be home and told me the driver was extremely polite. When I went to the front porch to get the bill, there was a beautiful 2024 calendar sitting there. What a nice perk! Thank you - love the home town feel from Blue Flame -- keep up the great work ?

Bait and switchSign up for a monthly budget. Sign a contract for a specific amount of gallons. Sign up for direct deduction from bank account. Monthly price is set. Last statement shows under use for contracted gallons for the year. Get a bill at the end of the contract saying we owe an additional $700. When asking for an accounting, I am told “somebody” (contract was not signed by a blue flame employee) at their office didn’t do the math right so we have been paying at a deficit all year. If I could give no stars, I would. Terrible record keeping. Terrible accounting. Terrible company. I will be going someplace else.

I do not recommend blue flame I've been waiting months for them to come out and bury my gas line. I've had yellow plastic line exposed just sitting on my grass. I called and ask to speak with a supervisor and he wasn't available so I asked for him to call me back this was over a month ago. I'm still waiting on the call. I see why they have a 2.5 star rating.

DO NOT GO HERE. We originally joined because we were told on multiple occasions that they price matched other companies in the area. We thought we were set. However, after jumping through all hoops they have for them to price match, they refused to do so. Of course there is no WRITTEN policy about price matching, just word of mouth. So we switched just to have more fees piled on because they refused to follow their own policy. Now they refuse to take our phone calls and are threatening legal action. THIS PLACE TAKES ADVANTAGE OF YOU, DON'T GO HERE!

Worst company I ever dealt with. Rude employees, customer service socks, they don't check their tanks for leaks. I found 2. They have no care or respect for the customer. The guy who came after my tank was rude as could be. His name is Dan Owen's. He took pictures of Stanford gas new tank which is illegal and he argued that he can as its not my property.

Company changed computer systems, and will no longer send me statements via email (note: electronic .. not paper. cost them NOTHING) if I have a positive balance. HELLO .. is this 2023 or 1923?? Further, they sent me an invoice for $500+ dollars when I prepaid for propane. When I asked why the invoice doesn't show me what I owe (difference between what I prepaid and what I owe), they said "It's a new system and it doesn't do that. You have to keep track of that yourself." Am I in a time warp here?? Total PITA ..

Took them three months and multiple calls to fill my tank. When they finally did, it took four trips and I was charged higher per gallon rates each time, causing to pay $100 more than original price per gallon. Never received a bill from them until they sent one two months later with a $25 finance charge added. Highly suggest going elsewhere for your fuel needs. Lady on the phone was extremely rude and said it was my fault for not paying in time even though I never got a bill.

All I can say is the only pleasant experience I had with any of their employees was the guy who picked my tank up. Their customer service and pricing are so bad it drove us to switch to Semco within the first year of moving to a propane equiped house.

I've used blue flame since I moved here 6 years ago...I live a quarter mile from their yard...Due to some crazy circumstances we ran out... it took 26 hours for them to cone out... this is the worst customer service I've ever delt with... can't even give me a ball park on when a truck will be here..This spring their tank will be leaving and a different company will be here!

My husband and I have a prepaid account and receive a monthly statement showing how much money is remaining, but nowhere on the statement is the previous balance or what was deducted on what date. This does not show transparency or any form of having their customers best interest in mind. I would be careful with this company and do the math for them because it is obvious they cannot or do not want their customers to see it!

So on November 4th 2021 I had a full fill done on my tank. I paid the 90$ same-day delivery fee. I also paid the 95$ leak test they required because my tank dropped to 0.

Avoid at all cost! We bought our house and the previous owner had this company as the propane provider so beings they gave us a competitive price we stayed with them. After the first year there prices were no longer competitive and kept going up so I decided to buy my own 500 gallon tank so I can shop around and not be locked in with a certain propane provider. When I called them in September to inform them to come pick there tank up, yes there tank they own, I was told there would be a charge for that. In March they finally made it out to pick there tank up and received a bill in the mail of $78 for tank removal.
