I've been to Dan's Auto twice now. Once for an emergency repair on my transmission and recently for multiple issues with my car (normal maintenance stuff I've been putting off). Both times they were great and very helpful. They are very straight forward and tell you what you really need. The prices are fair, the work they do is excellent, and the work is done quickly. 10/10 would recommend taking your car here if you can!

Polite, honest, and will tell you if other quotes from other shops are a rip off. Prices were fair. Brought my car in on Monday, and was told I wouldn't be seen until Wednesday (totally fine with me), but everything was fixed & ready by Tuesday afternoon. Would recommend this shop to anyone else in the area! Thanks, Dan.

My car suddenly stopped on me a few times late last night. The next morning I google Mechanics near me, knowing I didn't want to go to one of the Big Name franchises; found Mr. Dan's Auto Repair took it there the first thing in the morning and was soooo pleasantly surprised by Mr. Dan and his staff's customer service and same day. I immediately locked Mr. Dan's number in my phone and will recommend him to all my family and friends. Good honest people. Thank You Mr. Dan!!!!

Dan’s Auto Repair took in my vehicle after it was stuck in Ford Dealership Service limbo waiting for a part that could never arrive and being quoted $1600 for a service I didn’t need. Dan took a couple hours and saved me over $1200 and was communicative, honest, and fair. Would highly recommend.

Dan has been extremely helpful and we have been bringing our cars here for years. Greg is a wonderful mechanic. They are trustworthy and fair in a time where that is not easy to find. If you live in the Downriver area, I recommend that you make Dan's Auto Repair your auto shop.
