I have a Tiguan that I've had a ton of airflow issues with. I brought my car in to this service department four times from October to March for the same issue - the car idled roughly and struggled to stay on after starting plus threw many codes at the time of the issue. The codes thrown were for the car misfiring, running lean AND rich, faulty o2 sensor, faulty MAF sensor, and start/stop errors. So the dealership kept throwing parts at an underlying problem they refused to dig further for. I had the ECU/TCM recall done as that is what they said the initial issue was. I was back the next day with the same problem, so they replaced the fuel injector wiring harness. Still having issues after bringing it in for a third time. So I get corporate involved. This dealership tells my corporate care advisor that this is a battery issue when it was clear it was not. So another $500 down the drain for a new battery I didn't need. Still having the same issues, so now I'm working with corporate on a buy back as this dealership claimed they hadn't a clue what could be wrong with my car. My corporate care advisor kept telling me to try another vw dealership as this one is privately owned and probably "sales over solutions motivated" as she put it. The next closest dealership was not worth the effort to me. I know nothing about cars but after googling these symptoms and throwing the word Volkswagen after these codes I found that this is probably a faulty PCV valve, a common and easy fix for VWs. A faulty PCV valve causes the car to display just about every issue mine was having for the past eight months. I bought a PCV valve from VW online for $67 and had my husband replace the old one. My car is running 100% normal after eight months of issues and a ton of wasted money because of this service department. I would never go back here as they have no idea what they are doing. I am disgusted at the amount of money they took from me knowing none of those parts were the issue. Also laughable that I diagnosed this myself with zero mechanical experience or knowledge. You're better off going to any chain mechanic than this VW service department. I almost turned my car in for buyback because of these clowns.Edit : This dealership responds telling you to contact the service advisor, Mike, but the couple of times I had the pleasure of speaking with this guy, he spoke to me extremely child like and laughed at me multiple times like a woman could never know what she's talking about if it has to do with a car. He also never once informed me on any of the updates while working with corporate and lied to my advisor saying I was having electrical issues to make it look like the battery was the issue as he couldn't even begin to guess where the airflow/ fuel system issues were coming from even though I provided a video of what the car had been doing. Never had electrical issues. Just a violently shaking engine that sporadically wouldn't stay on as the video attached shows. Don't bring your cars here, folks. Mike doesn't know anything more than the regular advisors, just has a better title and a worse attitude under pressure from customers.Wasn't even going to mention that they claimed my water pump and thermostat housing needed to be replaced due to a coolant spot they found under the hood for another $2500, but it turned out the coolant spilt was from the coolant bottle being replaced due to one of the many recalls on this hunk of junk car a couple of years ago. Just another attempt at robbing me blind from these guys. Would actually rather die before I brought my car back here.

This is me asking for a managers name to log into some documents for service done to my car or should I say not done. You have to wonder why someone would not give you a managers name? Not weird but ok, took one phone call to the dealer to get it. I would not recommend this dealer nor VW honoring their warranties. Ridiculous how many how's to jump through to get what you paid for. You could even try their customer care line, what a bigger joke

The team was very nice and helpful when I was buying a car, except that they gave me a test drive vehicle with the gas light on..... brand new car btwWhen I had issues with the car, I needed a replacement bumper(another dealer helped me), they passed me from manager to manager and ultimately told me they can't do anything and blamed it on VW. And VW blamed it on this dealer. Moral of the story don't buy a VW or from this dealer

Had an appointment for an oil change. At the 2 hour mark was told 10 more minutes. At the 2.5 hour mark was told that parts was backed up and couldn't "adjust the invoice". I asked to speak to the service manager, Mike Jankowski who interrupted my every sentence and refused to give me the name of the general manager, simply stating "he goes by Matt H". The oil change was prepaid for (with their 3 oil change package) yet they billed it anyways. This dealership is untrustworthy, disrespectful and dishonest. Take your business elsewhere.

Deployed service member here. My wife took her 6 year old CC there for some recalls and next thing you know had a list of $17K of repairs that would be needed. She sent me the list and most of what was on the list were thing that had already done with preventative maintenance (air filters, tire rotations/alignments, etc.). So apparently the business practice is to come up with a list of b******* to either get people to pay a ridiculous amount for stuff that doesn't need to be fixed, or force them into a sense of panic so they buy a new car. Sad bunch of slime balls that cant seem to break the stereotype of dealership maintenance.

Thus dealership does fantastic work on my car. They always have a good price for the work and NEVER pressure me into getting extra work done. Great place!

Took my GTI in to Joe Swafford for some additional work. I had the intake valves walnut blasted (there was some carbon buildup, which is normal with direct injection cars) and I had the water pump replaced (it had been leaking.) The technician who worked on my car, Pawel, did a fantastic job and I can tell he's very experienced and meticulous with his work. Overall I couldn't be more pleased. The car is running like a million bucks. Special thanks to Katie and Dawn at VW North America for going above and beyond with a partial goodwill adjustment. I will continue to see Joe at Fox VW of Rochester Hills for all of my preventative maintenance and any other repairs.

I had a great experience when looking for a new vehicle. I pretty much knew what I wanted and was able to achieve that.

Had an appointment scheduled and confirmed earlier the same day with Rolf. Waited an hour without being helped while other associates seemed to do nothing. I drove 45 to get to this location each way. Waste of my whole night. Avoid this dealership if you can. Not professional or friendly.

Took a vehicle in for service Nov 17th, and was horrified by the number of employees without masks. I absolutely did not feel safe being there. 3 in the service garage and 6 in the offices surrounding the waiting area without masks, even though there were signs on those office doors saying masks were mandatory to enter. If you need to get service done here, please be safe.

This place and the Volkswagen store next door I would steer away from & be really cautious to walk on the parking lot when shopping for a new vehicle. They lie & advertise cars for a sale price & will quote a $2k higher price when you get there & act like they don't have a clue what's going on when they list their advertising. Car wasn't even detailed and needed an alignment, Beware!

My wife really wanted one of the final Volkswagen Beetles. I negotiated a price online with the salesman. Halfway through the negotiation, he increased the cost because he quoted the wrong car. I agreed to the new price and went in to close the deal. When we finally went to pay for the car, the sales manager told us that the second price was incorrect and raised it again. I will never do business with this dealership again. Their written quotes are worthless and their word is worthless. This is just sleazy car sales tactics.

Typical Auto Sales Guy....lies to you just to get you in the place. Said vehicle was NICE..LEATHER ect...called a day later and said it was being detailed out so "GET IN HERE"....2 days later calling again. I work an hour and a half away so asked my Wife and Daughter to look at it. Took 30 minutes for them to pull up this vehicle that said.."NOT FOR SALE"....had not been cleaned...my Daughter said she did not even want to get into it...STAINS on seats...leaves in the back of it ect. oh and no leather. This Dealer obviously just does not really care about much other than "GETTING YOU IN THERE"..... STAY AWAY!
