Had to run to Detroit and of course my son and I are going to check out the Games Workshop Store. It is a great store and we found a lot of models that we haven't seen anywhere else. Matt is a super friendly positive person who makes you get even more excited about the hobby. If you want a positive experience with your kids go see Matt.Thank you Matt

Have only been once while going to the IKEA nearby to try and make the 3 hour drive more worth it and have been wanting to go back ever since. Matt's excitement about the hobby was mega infectious. It was an absolute blast and pretty cool to learn how long the store has been around. Would definitely recommend a visit, especially if you're looking for something hard to find. There was a surprising amount of rare or hard to find figures and boxes.

Love this place matt is super friendly and helpful. My kids love getting their first Warhammer model-building experience and some beginner techniques for painting. The only thing I wish was different here is that the store was bigger.

I’ve been here 3 times. It takes 1 1/2 hours to get there so 3 hours of driving for every visit. The first time I called in and they said they had the free mini of the month. I show up an hour and a half later and they were out. Bummer no biggie. Next month, I call in 2 days before and they say they will have it on saturday (in two days I don’t remember the date) I drive in and find a paper note on their door saying they are closed until the following week due to being at a gaming conference… nothing was said to me on the phone call 2 days prior and Google didn’t reflect it. Wow… that’s really frustrating I thought… better luck next time. Fast forward to today, I called earlier in the week and they said they would have the mini and they open at 12. I show up at 12 and get in a huge line. I hear from others in front of me that they passed out the free mini before the store was even opened…… and now they are out…. Why? If I had known I needed to get there before the store had even opened because that’s when they were passing out the mini I would have planned accordingly but I’m done coming to this store. I’ll take my business to Ann Arbor. Thoroughly frustrated with my experience here and I don’t care about missing out on the minis. I’ve spent more money in gas driving to and from this place than the average cost of a product and I can’t help but think it’s because there was a lack of communication by the staff like hey we won’t be here this week don’t show up, or we pass out the mini before noon so get her extra early… thanks

This is probably the best game store in Michigan.I love and hate game stores. They have things I want but usually smell like unwashed boys/men, stock can be hit or miss and the employees sometimes seem like zombies. Not here.Everytime I've been here the staff has been great. They're knowledgeable and friendly, but not pushy. They're polite and upbeat. The store doesn't smell and they always have something in stock that I'm looking for (barring the notorious shipping issues prevading post-COVID). If they don't have it, they offer to order it for me.This store is just over an hour away from my home, and while there are certainly other game stores that are closer, this one is fast becoming the store I'll visit on a regular basis b

The manager Matt is very friendly. I went in without having played warhammer before and Matt was more than happy to explain where to start with collecting and painting and answered all the questions I had.

Matt is awesome at what he does. Keep in mind you will want to check Facebook for store closings as Matthew runs the store himself. If you are just curious about Warhammer or have played for 20 years, come check them out.

If you are considering Warhammer but always felt intimidated by it, just stop by hear and talk to Matt the manager. Trust me he will relive you of that fear and help you get started. If more game stores had someone like Matt people like myself would feel less intimidated by new hobbies. Honestly can't say enough great things from my experiences so far. I mean the guy remembered my name from one visit!I'm 39 years old and always wanted to try something like Warhammer, but anytime I went to other game stores it just felt like there was no place for a new comer to learn. I'm sure we've all been there. You either have people who overload you with information or just don't want to help. My 2nd visit I picked up my first box ($60 only with many figures and paint included). Matt actually spent a great deal of time showing me how to put together my first model and showed me the proper way to prime it with paint.Matt took the the time to answer a boatload of questions, and I didn't even buy anything. I came back and picked up the Introduction set, along with asking many more questions! He also pointed me to lots of supplies and additional paints that have made starting the hobby a lot more fun and creative. One great aspect is no pressure, no upselling. He will suggest things that he uses and explain them, but it's a totally no pressure approach.Looking forward to more conversations with Matt and learning how to play the game once I have my models Battle Ready! Also everyone so far I've met at the store briefly chatting with has been really cool! I think that speaks to the friendly culture that the store has.

we stopped in here one day on a whim with no expectations. after our second visit, i knew i had to write a review. matt is so welcoming and knowledgeable on all things warhammer. on our first visit, he took the time to explain the basics and answered all of our questions. we didn’t have much time visiting the first time, but he told us everything they had to offer for beginners. we came back recently and he took us through the gameplay of a battle. the passion that matt emits is refreshing; it really is something you don’t come across every day. the way he explained the gameplay rules made it easy to understand and enjoyable. we bought a painting starter kit and he even gave us some freebies !i’m so glad we took a chance that one day and stopped in here. if you have any reservations about getting into warhammer at all, leave them at the door to Games Workshop.
