I wasn't gonna leave a one star, but they left me no choice and helpless. My tax preparer is really nice, but the point is they didn't get things done. Not mentioning waiting for at least half an hour for every single appointment and rescheduling many times because of their messed up schedule and system errors with my pregnant wife back then. I haven't received my tax return for like half a year so I called yesterday, the associate was really nice and schedule a phone section with one of their professionals, but that is it, it has been an hour, I still didn't received any calls from the professionals. I try to reach out, but there is no associate online to help me, always not available. Whether you schedule a phone section or in-person appointment, they are always late and ignore you. I am trying to be patient and understanding the whole process, but it turned out to be useless.

Phyllis Hart is and outstanding tax preparer. She is not only knowledgeable on preparing taxes she is also very understanding and works to make sure her customers are very satisfied. Her customer service focus is outstanding.

Possibly the worst service I've ever received from any company in my entire life. My "tax-expert" showed up 30 minutes late, took about 3 hours to do my taxes, misspelled my occupation, sent my check to the wrong address, and they charged me $220 for this.When I called to ask if they could help, they said there was nothing they could do. Extremely frustrating and disappointing. I don't intend on ever using H&R Block again.

Beware. They are not as transparent as they claim to be!! While checking online H&R Block website mentioned that the fees is $80 for filing the tax with tax pro, but when I walked into the office at Rochester hills MI, they did not talk about the fee upfront as they claim on various posters in the office lobby. Finally when you completed your returns, they charge based on the refund - child tax and other credits, and on top of that when there is a dispute, if they have to help you again, the charge is $55. All in all you get charged which is 5 times your $80 fee, that is $400. So please ask about the fee upfront. I felt I was cheated when the tax consultant told that the software you see online was different from what they use at their office. So they charge more. Unbelievable!!!! I could not give any less than 1 star or a negative review.

"That'll be $400!"For a REVIEW of my taxes that I made VERY CLEAR were already complete (with their software, which I purchased)! They didn't look at my work AT ALL, and I had to adjust THEIR incorrect numbers, so that I lost an additional $400 to the IRS. Because if they screw up, it's on me.That was my 2020 taxes. Now my 2021 taxes are screwed up and no one will help me. This level of incompetency should be reserved for government employees, not supposed members of the free market.DON'T GO HERE! It's just as much a headache as doing it yourself, and they scam you out of just as much money.
