I recommend Kroger Pharmacy for any vaccines. The staff was welcoming, professional, and Caring. I could tell they were super busy behind the counter, but they got me in right away. Manuel the tech was steady and quick when administrating the vaccine.

I have been using this pharmacy for a few years now and there is always some sort of an issue. Not to mention the RUDEST staff ever! Especially Angela , everytime I ask a question I get talked down to eyes rolling or ignored..She needs to be retrained on good friendly customer service or be replaced. I'm done with this place

This is a better-than-average Kroger. The produce is well-organized (organics are visible upon store entry) and its quality is good. There is a Murray's cheese shop as well as the standard deli, warm food, and bakery areas. Items are usually in stock and there is a decent variety. The store has good mobile reception for me (not true for larger stores such as the Kroger Marketplace at 18 Mile and Dequindre). Employees are helpful. My main gripe is that aisles are too narrow. There are sometimes jam-ups that bring to mind the stateroom scene from The Marx Brothers' movie, A Night at the Opera. Still, you could do worse if you want to shop at a Kroger (would that I could review Kroger corporate).

The Livernois/Walton store has been my place for over 20 years!! NO MORE. Shelves not stocked, deli counter is a joke and the meat counter is hit and miss. Checkout is a real joke. 1 or 2 registers open at best. Always a long wait even during the week. It's too bad because I used to love shopping here but that ship has sailed. Now I go there out of necessity, I wish the management would get their act together and I would return but for now I'll pass.

Terrible manager syd. I was getting harassed outside and she yelled at me to go back and do carts. Don't recommend this location. If you go use the bathroom they will say your name over the speaker till you finish.

Happened to be in area - needed a few things.kind of outdated, older location. Friendly staff members. Found nearly everything needed. Though they carry beer and wine - no liquor! Self checkout lines moved quickly.

The store itself is usually pretty good. Stuff is usually in place, usually stocked, and usually relatively clean throughout the store. However if you need to get any sort of customer service, forget about it. Do not even bother thinking twice of coming into this store if you need to do something like make a return. 9 out of 10 times, there will not be anyone at the counter, and if you ask one of the people there, they will always give you some excuse as to why they cannot help you with your return. Whether it's being short staffed, or some reason of the system not working, or literally just being told that they aren't taking returns at that specific time. It's quite frustrating, and it happens way too often.

This location is ideally suited for nearby neighborhoods. Tons of parking, easy access to hospital and Livernois or Walton. It's not a "full-size" Kroger, so many people are frustrated by the narrow aisles, limited selection and lack of high end Kroger amenities. My rationale for shopping here is different. I love it because it has great selection for the essentials, is laid out beautifully, and is perfect for grabbing "quite a few quick things". If you need more than a party store, but don't want to head to a super store or Meijer or Target, then this location is perfect.

The facility is conveniently located, has adequate parking, is clean and well maintained, and the selection of merchandise is above average for most Kroger stores. The employees are very helpful and easy to work with, especially cashier Ericka and bagger Michelle, both of whom make the checkout process easy and pleasurable.

I would have to look very hard to find someone as miserable as Amanda at this pharmacy. My son has monthly prescriptions for asthma, and like normal people occasionally my wife and I also have prescriptions but something that should be so routine I don’t need to review my experience turns into an incredibly frustrating scenario monthly at this point. Regardless to the status provided by their automated system, there are more often then not delays on pick up even after I’ve been alerted the prescription was ready, or now they’re really awesome at just not having the medication, no offer to order it in, no offer to locate it within the Kroger family of pharmacies just an attitude and Amanda letting you know you need to call the other locations on your own tracking down the medications you need. Multiple other Kroger locations have NO PROBLEM figuring out where you can secure your prescriptions but Amanda has better things to do with her time apparently. We’ve been using this pharmacy for at least a year now my wife and I both have had poor experiences with the same employee numerous times, I’d retrain or replace her if I was in charge.

Awful pharmacy department with extremely rude employees. They give a time when your prescription is ready…the employees, specifically Amanda, continuously have an attitude when I arrive at the time THEY provide only to find my prescriptions are not indeed ready. Miserable person all around.

OK, this review I thought long and hard about because it makes me sad. I LOVE Kroger. But, I will never sop at THIS location again. To begin with... *they have two entrances. but only have carts available at ONE of them. *The produce department is almost always overstaffed as it was today. the vast majority of the walking space in the department was filled either with workers, or the carts they were working from. They push past you then stop, blocking your way. Now, all of this might be more understandable IF they at least said, "Sorry" or "excuse me" or (my personal favorite) "HELLO" They DID say "hello" to EVERY White customer that came through. They DID say "excuse me" to EVERY White customer they stepped or reached in front of. They DID say "Is there anything I can help you find?" To EVERY White customer that came through. I thought it was my imagination until I realized I had walked past at least 10 employees in this store AND NOT ONE OF THEM HAD SPOKEN TO ME WHATSOEVER! I went to the Meat Counter, where there was a Black girl and a White guy working. They both had customers as I walked up He was on my side of the counter and she was on the opposite side. I needed a price on a package of steak I was about to purchase. HE said nothing to me or even acknowledge my presence. She finished her customer. THEN, instead of leaving me standing, asked me how she could help me CHRIST IN HEAVEN!!! SOMEONE IN THIS STORE SPOKE TO ME!! I collected my items and proceeded on my way. Pretty much anywhere I go, they are restocking and blocking the entire isle. They will look me dead in the eye, NOT SPEAK, but step in front of me as if I am invisible. By this point, I had most of the things I was there for, and I was pissed on principle. I was determined to stay in there as long as possible. I also had noticed that I was one of maybe three Black People in the entire store. I watched the majority of those who ignored me carry on nice customer oriented conversations with the White patrons. I am a 60 year old, Black, Gay man who is handicapped due to a recent amputation. While none of those should matter, clearly at least ONE of them DID matter. I was a customer! DAMMIT! I am sick and tired of accepting substandard treatment and paying the same price as those who receive the PROPER treatment. 60 years I have endured the same treatment or worse and kept my mouth shut, and I am here to say NO MORE! I was entitled to better treatment that I received in that store. I did not speak to the Manager because I did not want it to be said I was creating a scene "Angry Black Man". I personally thank every EVERY employee I interact with because without them, we would not have been able to eat during the worst part of the pandemic. They are essential. I get it. I thanked the young man at the self serve checkout. I did not get his name either. But he had blonde/green hair and was SUPER nice!! He greeted me and asked how my day was. he helped me with codes for my produce. He made polite conversation (about food and we both got hungry...LOL) I told him that he was the second person in the entire store to say ANYTHING to me. He apologized profusely, then thanked me for shopping at Kroger. THAT young man is Management material. But it has been a long time since I was treated in a retail establishment the way I was in Rochester, MI. It is sad that this is STILL happening. Sad, but not surprising... I AM BLACK and MY LIFE MATTERS

Worst service ever. Prescriptions called in the day prior. I went to pick them up the next morning and was told there is nothing ready. I had to inform them the medication was called in. Then was told oh it is. It ready because we were busy yesterday giving injections. My response was, you didn’t inform the customer the medications are going to be filled, he then responded with we were short and could not fill them, please wait an hour (as the guy in front of me was picking up his medicine). This is not the first time and we have encountered this problem and lying at this pharmacy. We will not be returning.
