There are many reviews about this location. I've been a member since 2018, yes there are pro's and con's like any other gym, but you need to feel it out to decide when it works for you; Don't come on a Monday night after 5pm. If you want to use the squat racks come anytime Sunday after 11. Saturday anytime after 12pm. Most evening nights are ok but it will be busier. If you go before 4pm you can get on anything. They redid the unisex hot sauna, which is nice and slightly bigger, had hoped for infrared but oh well it's still pretty good. The pool area in the summer is great, especially if you have kids. Many slides and types of pools to accommodate little and slightly older. The locker rooms are always kept up well (except during the summer, the family room is NOT kept up well at all...) The showers could be kept cleaner during peak times as well as the hot tubs (just this past year). The swim membership for a junior competing is kind of pricey, had to reduce that out of my package due to the price and unavailability to make it 2x due to my schedule. Overall, the equipment is usually maintained pretty well. I was disappointed when they removed quite a few of the bikes out of there, ultimately I just stopped biking as the recumbent bikes are absolute garbage. I do feel that this gym does need to update a lot of the equipment and utilize the space a bit more efficiently. Other than that, I consistently get a great work out with many modalities to choose from, in a nice setting with a couple days of the month that it's too busy for me but not enough to look elsewhere. I've had memberships at the other local big box gyms and they simply suck. Lifetime is the best within the area unless you want to have multiple small boutique gym memberships, if you don't want that, LT is the place.

This gym has obviously lost their mind if they think someone is paying $40 on a guest pass for their pool area.. I wanted to bring some family and they said $40 per person to use the pool... mind you the pool is mediocre

To the blonde girl with highlights working on June 6, 2023 at about 10:00 PM, she always makes my day she's always so nice! Her compliments make my day every time. Best gym. Been a member for almost 5 years now, and I will probably never want to leave. Love this place. Five stars on everything and no complaints. The only improvement that I wish for is to add a second sauna for each gender. I feel it's inappropriate to have a co-ed Sauna. Especially for the $$$ we pay each month.

Unfortunately this location has massively fell off. I've been going for 10+ years and this is the worst I've ever seen it. Crowded to the point of the facilities being unusable. Anytime after normal work hours you won't be able to do the exercises/lifts you want in the gym, you'll wait an hour+ to play basketball, and you'll have to stand basically pressed up against the wall in the sauna. Bad organization across the board. You'd think with all those people they'd want to keep the cafe open but it closes before I even get there every night. The pickleball is nice I guess but really not many positives to mention here. Would potentially be worth it at half the price.

The guest services is awful here. They don't have all the amenities promised and if you want you you will have to go through a lot of trouble. The food is very over priced. The team member and operations is terrible.

Used to be the best gym in town. No membership caps or prioritization of the member experience has largely killed the club. Poor management and crowded amenities leads to not even having the ability to use the equipment why you came there in the first place. Disappointed to be cancelling my membership after 21 years. Sad!

It’s pretty expensive but it’s for the convenience and the organic ingredients that you pay for. If you want mass produced products with high sugars and additives drive down Rochester road and find 10 every few miles.I will say my only gripe is that for the smoothies: I don’t like protein in them so when I see a $9.99 price it makes sense WITH protein for a smoothie - whenever I remove the protein I wish it would go down to at least $6.99 or $7.99.Their meals to go are usually what I buy most of. Super convenient.

There's not a better public gym you could join. Absolutely every amenity including the steam rooms and the spa

Straightforward mega gym with reasonable prices. During peak hours the space can be overwhelming. If your just looking for a reliable treadmill there are simpler options elsewhere.

I joined the club which is more expensive than other clubs. On the website when I joined it said that the membership included use of the pools. However, I came to find out that it did not include outdoor pool use and that was an additional seasonal fee. Nowhere on the website did it state this. I called the manager, Steve, and informed him of this and he was not helpful and was very rude. I don't know how this facility continues to keep membership. I would not go to this facility.

Katie the manager has a horrible attitude, can barely talk to and she's already threatening to terminate member ship, she was totally having a bad day and it showed, as a manager Katie you should be the first person to know not to treat people poorly

The Rochester lifetime does not have the environment of a luxury gym and feels more like a pseudo country club. There is a beautiful outdoor pool, which in the summer is a zoo. If you are a woman, and you want to use the dry sauna, it is co-ed, which I find to be bothersome. Often men will try to talk to you while you are sweating profusely. Uncomfortable, and not because it is 145 degrees. That said, I am fond of the latest, most brilliantly engineered equipment, steam shower in the ladies locker room, and fitness classes, especially yoga. Though life has its pros, it is not the best fit for a young woman looking to get a good workout in a more spa-like fitness center. It is my opinion that the environment does not equate with the price.

Have been a member since my parents took me when they first opened up and the price was $70 for two adults and kids under 12. Fast forward to 2021 my fiancé and I are on a plan together for $130 with no kids. It use to be a 24/7 club but that has been good and gone now, rates went up as well with no compensation for the missing hours. I can never get a straight answer from management about what the club is doing and mostly get the short end of it. I don't recommend my friends to the gym because of Lifetimes lack of care. It's just one of those things that I've been a member for so long that I continue to go but usually get annoyed on a regular basis.

Over priced and not really interested in your health only your money. Very angry at their new mask policy. What a joke. Plus they are charging a 2.5% surcharge to use your credit card on top of paying monthly fees and $$ for many activities. I’ve been a member since they opened but not for long.
