Compared to Joanne's framing services, Michaels is similar. I've used both companies for small framing projects and overall it's decent quality and bit over priced.

Love the store but my god the lines are ridiculous. I was in there today & there were only 2 registers open. We were in line for over 25 minutes with little movement. Everyone in line was irritated and hot. 1 of the cashier's is always very nice but SLOWWWWW. She checks out 1 person to the other cashiers 3 or 4 people. Open more registers, especially with covid and NO distance.

Love, love, love this place!! My nephew loved the oil paint set and art supplies that I got him for Christmas. It was a huge hit and really well priced. This place never fails me....really helpful staff and well organized

Fun place to go with my daughter. We love to look at the latest holiday decorations. She loves the squishys, stickers and crafts. I like the clearance stuff lol. I do get different things each visit. If you sign up for email, they will send you coupons too.

I have a love hate relationship with Michaels. While I do shop there from time to time, I only come in for certain products. I don't shop here nearly as much as I used to, and it's mostly because I need items for scrapbooking. They have a great selection of all sorts of things, but really like to push the framing thing here. I have no problem with this, especially because their prices are great and they always have great coupons. I find that sometimes, I am looking for specific scrapbooking items and they just don't carry them. Like albums. I used to like their recollections items, but there are so many other great product lines out there, that I find I want those instead. Like We R Scrapbook albums. On a positive note, they do have a little bit of everything here, and the store always seems to be super clean and organized. Staff is friendly and I've had other services performed here, like a custom frame job and a flag holder for my grandpa after he passed. In general, it's a typical craft store and I haven't had a bad experience yet.

The workers are so helpful at michael's and you can get awesome deals once you join their eclub and become a member. All you need to do is give them your email and your phone number. I went in for some ornaments, diy candle making kits and some beading. Everytime I go in I end up finding other awesome kits this time I picked up a mosaic making kit and I cannot wait to try. I love making crafts and this place is so fun and perfect for finding your art supply needs!!

Used a 40% off coupon which is great! Love that! I purchased some really cute backdrops and table covers for upcoming blog/ food pictures. Will be back for more items like mason jars and glass jars which I did not know they sold here but I'm happy I know now. And Michaels isn't overly priced like I thought it would be. I didn't see any staff when I walked in the door. It's nice to be greeted upon entry and I walked around and didn't run into anyone either so I found everything myself which is fine I managed just something I noticed. Upon check out the staff was really nice!

This location is a typical Michaels. It is seriously just A-OK. When I was planning my wedding I spent a lot of time (and money!) here because this store was so close to my work but now I don't really see any difference between this location and the Madison Heights location. Prices and selection are really nothing special - use your coupons and you'll be good to go.
