I Bought 4 tires and scheduled for them to be installed at 8am this morning, Saturday 11/11/23. Got there and the doors weren't open at 8am. Waited 15 min. Then I called. They said no techs were in til 9am. Went got donuts came back. 915am. Still no techs. I go around and walk all the way to the tire center. There were 2 girls there like, " idk what to tell you. You can reschedule or call and schedule with another store." I wanted the road side tire warranty. So I waited and they just stood there. I had to call the other store. "Your tires are right there" I said do you have a cart or something? I figured they may try to help but they didn't. Told me the door was locked and they couldn't get a cart, "they're in the front of the store" no help. No customer service at all. I called and scheduled mound rd to do the install. They did a fine job. Adams rd walmart tire center sucks and they had very bad customer service. Would never recommend.

Terrible experience! Bought 5 tires online, paid for installation service online. Tires delivered to the store quickly. All downhill from there. Dropped off 5 old wheels/tires without the car to make it easy. Scheduled appointment was longer than I was told, left them for 4 hours without any word. Just before I went to the store to check on my new tire install, I received an email from Walmart returning the money for installation. $95.40 is what I paid online for 5 tires mounted and balanced. I notified the staff and they had no idea why that happened. No problem, I'll just pay for it with my card and wait for the refund on my statement. When I went to pay, the new total was $156.50! When I asked why the total changed, they just kept showing me the itemized cost and not answering the question. Wasting so much time already, I paid the bill and figured I would call customer service to try and resolve the issue. Went back to the car to install the new tires on the vehicle and noticed 1 tire had a bulge in the sidewall. I immediately returned to the store to show the tire and was questioned by some of the staff as to if I had driven the car snd possibly ran over something! Clearly you could tell the tire had never even touched the ground!!! Then they asked where I purchased the tires? The tires were bought from Walmart, delivered to that location, installed by that staff only an hour earlier and they're acting like they had never met me before!! I kept my cool, never raised my voice and repeated the story several times to different staff members including a store manager who was not from that department. The manager of the automotive department was not to be found. I was told I had to return the tire for a refund, reorder a tire online and then schedule an installation date. There was some confusion as to whether I was able to get a refund for the installation of the bad tire which infuriated me!!!! Why am I paying for installation of a BAD tire Walmart sold me AND Walmart mounted! The manager from another department was able to refund the tire and refund the mounting and balancing and gave me a $50 store credit to try the balance out the cost difference between what I paid online for installation and what I paid in store. I was now only out $11.10 and several hours of my day, cut my losses. Went home ordered the new tire, didn't pay for the installation, but still had it delivered to the store for pick-up. I wasn't able to get back to the store until a week later. In that time, one of the tires had gone flat! The car has still not moved since the tires were put on! I removed the tire and brought back to the store. Showed up to the store couple of hours after the auto department was supposed to be open and the doors were still locked, cars parked outside waiting. I went around the front and to the auto center to find only a couple of staff there. Still no manager around, told them about the leaking tire and they couldn't do anything until after 11am when another staff member would be in. Still no manager in sight for the automotive department!! I picked up my new tire, not trusting them to mount and balance the 5th tire. I left my number and demanded a call from the manager. Hours later, no call from the manager or the status of my leaky tire. I went back to the store, when I went in again I was greeted by some as they had never seen me before! Only 1 staff member, newly hired, treated me fairly. I pulled her aside and told her she should leave this place before the staff corrupts her!! Told her to keep my name and number as a reference for her next job. WALMART! FIRE THE STAFF AT THIS LOCATION AND FIRE THE MANAGER IN THE AUTOMOTIVE DEPARTMENT!!! Find a location for the one employee who gets it! There wasn't 1 customer in the several trips to that store that was happy with the service they received!! Anyone who put a good review for this location is a plant or a fake. If I could give a 0 rating, I would. Waste of time, should have spent the $220 more at Belle Tire and hopefully had a better out

Worst experience ever. Walmart in Rochester Hills is the worstI always went in 19 miles and Mound because people there are helpful ,but the location in Adams road is the worst . The employees are unprofessional rude and not helpful at all. I'm never ever returning there.

One employee said they had my tire in stock. Now I am at my appointment and there is another employee( Tanisha the “floor manager”) saying the opposite. I need two tires and to go to work tomorrow. Is that going to happen? Unlikely

They were very slow to do a rotate and balance. Got done and couldn't give me a receipt for the work done with miles, date, and make and model of car for the tire warranty. Tried via their customer service desk and via the customer service hotline and they cannot remedy the problem. Lost my faith in walmart today.Service: Tires

Decent and affordable spot for oil changes.Takes a little longer than other places, but at least you have a walmart to walk around and wait.

Went to get one of my tires checked. They claimed there was a nail in it and they could plug it. I realized later my firestone firehawk tire was replaced with a random balled tire. This is sad Walmart.Service: Tires

This location has dissapointed me on so many occasions, they have broken my hood latch they have quoted 45 minute wait times and turn around and say that I'm suddenly behind multiple other orders and that it'll be 2+ hours AFTER the 45 minutes. Constantly trapped in this location makes me never come to this location to even shop I spend way too long when I'm here for car services.Service: Oil change

I called the auto dept. 10 times 3 days in a row during business hours and no-one ever answered. So after reading other reviews. Maybe they should shut the whole dept. Down.... I only needed to ask a tire repair question and get a price.

Absolute terrible service, I bought 4 tires online and an hour later I got an email saying they could only give me 3. I went through with the appointment and when I got there they said my appointment was cancelled when I never cancelled it. Then they could not even find the tires they set aside for me. After they found them on the other side of the store, I found two more of the same tires up on the rack myself. I ended up paying for the 4th tire and got them installed. I finally got my vehicle back and when I got home I found zip ties on one of the rims, they broke the plastic off when the lugs were already exposed. They are were very unorganized and I dont not recommend.

I had my elderly parents take their car in for a quick oil change. They own a 2020 Buick envision. The car started to slowly leak oil after the change and was dripping everywhere we went so I had my brother who is a mechanic take a peek to see where it was coming from and it was leaking from the oil filter. I called and spoke with Tanisha who told us to bring it in this morning so they could take a look. They acted like it wasn't their fault and refused to fix the issue or give us a refund. The Manager even went as far to blame my brother who only took a look for the oil leak. Upon taking our parents car to a reputable oil change facility we realized they had tightened oil filter too much which caused it to leak. We spent $168 at Walmart and they clearly took advantage of my elderly parents and took their money without providing a service or correcting the problem due their negligence. My advice to anyone taking their vehicle for any kind of maintenance is to take it to your regular oil change shop. Not here. They won't correct any problems or issues they cause and will blame you and ruin your expensive vehicle.Service: Oil change

Do yourself a favour and go to a local tire shop if you need tires installed. I used them only because I thought it would be convenient to have the tires I bought from them installed at their location. They fiddled around for an hour, claimed that my "tire was stuck", and sent me back without trying any further. They also likely did something to the battery during their battery test because I needed a jump the next day. I then had my car towed to a smaller local tire shop and they literally took 30 minutes to replace my flat tire for the same cost as walmart's value install. These guys either don't care or they don't seem to know what they are doing.
