I just went here for the first time today! I just moved to Rochester recently and stopped by and I was so excited to see all of the options! I’ve been looking for Swedish candy EVERYWHERE!! So excited I found this little gem! The folks who were working today were so kind as well! :)

This is one of the hidden gems in Rochester that is an absolute treat (pun intended)! They stock favorites from every generation, from old fashioned hard Candy, neccos, and endless varieties of licorice to the candy cigarettes and wax bottles that brings me back to days of riding bikes and skinned knees. My kids love the freeze dried candy, slime lickers and chocolate covered nuts. Craving something that you don’t see in the shelves? Cheri and her brother will get it for you! Now we’ve gotten to the very best part of the Candy Attic, it’s a family business that started with their father. In a time when it feels like personal connections are hard to come by, Cheri goes above and beyond to make every customer feel like part of their extended family. She takes the time to remember names, ask how we’re doing, and always shows genuine care. For our family, it’s about more that just the sweets they offer, it’s the sense of community they’ve fostered. My kids are fortunate to experience something rare these day, being able to walk to the local candy store. I have no doubt this will become a cherished memory from their childhood. As parents, we’re grateful to have a safe place where they can explore their independence, surrounded by kind and trusted people who genuinely care. It’s places like this that truly make our town feel like home.

I make online orders every year, going on approx 5 years now. I’ve contacted them twice over the years due to an ordering mistake on my part, forgot to add something I wanted, and it’s so nice to talk to an actual person. Good customer service. And my family is always happy with their products.

True GEM! ✨️ Candy paradise, it is so pretty. There is a huge variety of all types of candy. Fro. Old-fashion to modern candies such as baked skittles. The owners are the o e who attend you at the store. Therefore, they treat each client above and beyond. They offer free samples. I got 27 bumble gun toys for a party. They can get you any type of candy and snack needed. There is another room for chocolates and coffee. It is so comfy that you'll want to hang out for a long time. In their catalog, they offer a customized candy box. This place is a must visit in Downtown Rochester. There is plenty of free parking lot.
