Highly recommend Heather and Salon Monaco for extensions! We have a very unique situation, but my daughter is 10 and lost a lot of her from a medication she was on. I was seeking referrals and Heather came highly recommended. I reached out and right away she wanted to help my daughter. She explained all of her experiences and has a ton of training in different techniques. She even went as far as coming in outside of her schedule so my Daughter wouldn’t be embarrassed with customers in the salon. She was our bright spot when there was so much sadness from this condition. Heather ordered the extensions, but they weren’t going to be in in time for the daddy daughter dance. So, she said that’s ok, you’re gonna come in and I’ll do your hair for the dance. The care and attention to detail that Lindsay & Heather took with my Daughter was above and beyond. She recently got her extensions and to see her confidence level shoot up, was priceless. I will forever be grateful.

I was referred by my friend to Danielle and had a great experience. After that I was passed to Heather who did not review the color formula that I had knowing I was Danielle’s client… you would think after years of being in business she would have done this and when I asked to have it corrected Heather was cooperative, but passed me off onto another stylist who did a nice job and so I came back to this person and left with a great experience, but when I saw my grey was not quite covered I called the stylist to get it corrected and Heather calls me back and again acted like I was a problem. Thank you Danielle, but Heather is a problem and you lost a good client because of her. I have never been to a salon that treats the customer as a problem this is the first. My photo shows grey hair at my roots after I just left the salon Thursday. Heather would not honor correcting this. Unbelievable!

I have never been treated so awful by an owner of a salon in 15 plus years of dying my hair using the same color formula for my grey roots. No owner of a salon has ever had trouble following a formula or had trouble with their product like this place. I left yesterday with grey roots after a 120 dollar color and cut to cover my grey roots and when I asked to get this corrected I was told it would not be corrected and that I was the problem. I won't pay for bad service is the problem. If you decide to go here ask for Danielle she knows how to follow a formula, treats customers with respect and is great! I was told Danielle won't be back for a long time so I will be taking my hard earned money elsewhere and you should consider the same!

I love this place. My mom and I have been to almost every decent hair salon from Rochester Utica Troy and Sterling Heights and never have we been as happy as we are here. We always work with Dani and she is the sweetest woman and makes me so excited to get my hair done. I’m always recommending this place to everyone because I just think it’s such a hidden staple but worth it. Both ladies are wonderful and so inviting and I’m never nervous to get my hair done here. I’ve gone blonde, brown, gotten bangs, highlights, I did everything and have never been disappointed. Please give this place a chance if you care about your hair!! ❤️Services: Haircut

Best hairdresser around! Every time I get my hair done (every 5 weeks) I get numerous compliments! The color stays well and the cuts are great all the time! Heather makes me look fabulous and I love her for it!

I've been going to Heather at Salon Monaco for years, and I still love her! She's knowledgeable, smart, stays up to date and trends and technique and LISTENS. She has a natural sense of what each client's hair needs while implementing that into what each client is looking for. Her pricing is fair and affordable, and she always finds a way to accommodate her schedule for her clients' needs. Highly recommend!

My God what took me so long to find this place . Disaster after Disaster of bad colors!! My God I wanted blond not orange - yellow - brown . Heather I met as a hockey mom and told me many times to come but I lived quite far away and just kept having faith someone would get right! Nope - so I made the hour plus drive and have continued ever since except now somewhat closer in Brighton. No photos needed just tell her what you want - she gets it .
