Amazing customer service and overall experience. My maid of honor, mom and I visited Studio Bridesmaid to check out the Amsale collection in person. Sierra at Studio Bridesmaid was so sweet, helpful and knowledgeable. We didn't get pressured to purchase anything that day. It was so nice to be able to try on the dresses and learn more about them. Support a local business with quality customer care!

I’m giving this place one star because I am not impressed by the manager. She’s very rude and inconsiderate. My fiancé was stressed out for months doing business with them. They didn’t give her a refund that she and her bridesmaids absolutely deserved. The manager is incredibly disrespectful and I wouldn’t recommend this place for anybody at all.My understanding is when this place was under older management it was really great but after new management took over it’s a real joke.

Weddings and family gathering alike are beautiful moments and have the potential to be financial discomforts and stressful unforeseen scenarios. It would be assumed that people and places of business that work in close proximity of brides and wedding parties would evolved and enlightened enough to recognize and avoid the many nuances and challenges that may arise in wedding planning rather than being apart of the trauma and chaos. It almost feels as is Studio Bridal in Rochester went out of their way to avoid any opportunity to convenience or destress the bride. The customer service and transparency following our initial fitting/visit on 2/18 was abysmal at best. Per the designer’s website, the price of our dresses dropped drastically. On March 1, 2023, the price of the bridesmaids’ dresses decreased $85/dress on four (4) dresses and the price for the Maid/Matron Honor dress decreased $64/dress on two (2) dresses. Additionally, they add a service charge to the price of each dress, which is not mentioned anywhere in their contracts. The flower girls’ dresses were $124.50 per the designer’s website. Plus a 6% sales tax, the total amount would have been $131.97 and I was charged approximately $146 ($145 + change) for the dress. They’re adding an additional (approx.) 10% service fee charge to the cost of each dress.IN SHORT the shop appearing to have known went out of their way to press for order to be maid in an attempt to avoid the price drop when potential patrons like ourselves attempted to finalize the order on march 2nd.This is not only an unusual business practice, but misleading and discouraging when paired with unclear and unexpectedservice fees. It is our hope that this has not happened to others at the same time (but itRaises the question of why not and I hopeWe weren’t preyed on), but in the event that it did we can come together to be fairly charged. If any bride to be would like some more damming information, do message me and I will be more than happy to show the time stamps, and proof of transaction.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.On March 1st, the price of the dresses that I had purchased (in an order that had not yet been placed with the designer) dropped drastically. When I called to finalize the order on March 2, 2023, the same staff that had reassured me multiple times that we could wait on the flower girls’ dresses notified me that the flower girls’ dresses would take just as long to come into the office as the bridesmaids dresses and if I had any expectation of them being the same color, they would all need to be ordered together. As a result, I had to rush to get the flower girls’ into the office the very next day for measurements. The flower girls get fitted, we pay for their dresses, and we leave the store. I called the store after we left to inquire about a price adjustment due to the drastic decrease in the base price of the dress per the designers website. This is before the order was actually placed with the designer. They declined to make the price adjustment. The store hours were 12p-4p. At 10:30p (drastically outside of their posted business hours), I get an e-mail from the owner, saying that the order has been placed and the expected ship date is early June (nowhere near being in any danger of default for a September wedding). The contract that we signed for the dresses said that they were non-refundable after the order had been placed with the designer, so the fact that they rushed to place the order outside of normal business hours after I inquired about a price adjustment is no surprise. The next day, I called the shop and requested a call back from the owner, which I never received. She e-mailed me back much later in the day, refusing the price adjustment. I e-mailed her back thoroughly explaining that all of this appeared to be intentional and appeared to be quite dishonest. She e-mailed me back in great detail, essentially explaining that it’s the customers responsibility to protect themselves in commercial transactions and their store otherwise has the right to mistreat them.Long story short, it would appear that they knew about the price adjustments scheduled to take place at the end of February. Once the calendar changed to March 1, 2023, everything that they had been telling us about the flower girls’ dresses changed. They refused the price adjustment and rushed to place the order outside of normal business hours so that it was no longer cancellable per their policy.Using this store will cost you, literally. It cost us an estimated $470.00 in the base price of the dresses, plus an additional approx. $120 in service charges that they tacked onto the price of the dresses. Grand Total: An approximate $590.00 loss.I had one dress for the bridesmaids and a different dress for the Maid and Matron of honor. I e-mail back immediately regarding the price adjustment and received no immediate answer. She e-mailed me back in great detail, essentially explaining that it's the customers responsibility to protect themselves in commercial transactions and their store otherwise has the right to mistreat them. Her message was that if the customer doesn't attempt to price match at the point of sale, they're not entitled to any price adjustments, which is absolutely ridiculous and not standard practice for any retailer I've ever frequented before.Long story short, it would appear that they knew about the price adjustments scheduled to take place at the end of February. They intentionally railroaded us into paying much higher prices for the same dresses, even going so far as to potentially lie to us about the flower girls' dresses not needing to be ordered soon in an attempt to get us to place the whole order by the end of February. DO NOT GO HERE!The worst customer service I’ve ever had. If I could give them zero stars I absolutely would. The owner Catherine is so unprofessional I don’t know how she still is in business. She never submitted mine and another bridesmaid’s orders. Then tried to lie to us and the bride about it. She actually was trying to get me to call the other bridesmaid and bride to tell them like it was my job. She ended up having to show the bride the email that shows she made the mistake after lying about. She then told all 3 of us to go to her preferred seamstress and said she would cover the cost since it was all her mistake. Now is lying again and refusing to cover any of the costs. Save yourself A LOT of money and the worry of not having your dress done on time if at all and go somewhere else. This place is so not worth all the lies and extra costs plus the owner was a HUGE B****

The dress selection was excellent! It was the only place we could find the color my sister (the bride) liked. The customer service, however was one of the worst I have ever experienced. The gentleman in the back for suits was fine, but the lady who helped us was not helpful, she barely was with us and didn't have much knowledge or tact when talking about measurements and sizes. I was between sizes so she had me try 2 on. I tried the larger first then the smaller and came out with the smaller on. I said "The other one the top was falling off." And I quote, she said, "that's because your top is small and the rest is bigger." I left almost in tears. I'm sure with some training and some attention to clients by the other ladies at the front desk, it would be an enjoyable experience.

So this was the first stop of the day and it was very difficult not to make it our last stop.Hanna was beyond helpful, going out of her way to make our experience as best as it could be. We found numerous dresses that were just gorgeous, but we're just not quite what we were looking for as far as the theme of our daughters prom.Still, they did offer to hold one for us and we were very close to going back to get it. When we called to let them know we had found something that was perfect for the theme and apologized that we wouldn't be needing it, they understood completely and said there was no need to apologize. We will certainly go back the next time we are looking. They do need a sign out by the road though you can't see them at all when driving east.

This store has had a new owner the past few years so some of the older reviews are not relative. Catherine is AMAZING! I not only worked for her but I also ordered all of my dresses through her for my bridal party. Her staff is attentive and SO friendly! I would highly recommend Studio Bridesmaid.

This was the first time I have ever gone to a studio and wow, I was impressed with Ellie. I brought my sister, mom and cousin to have them try on groomsmaid/mother of the groom dresses and she was FANTASTIC. After she noticed what our style was, she instantly helped with similar dresses and was such a great help. Not only was she kind and helpful, but was not pushy to buy anything on the spot. I will be coming here to buy both our groomsmen and groomswomen tuxes/dresses with the request of working with her. Thank you Ellie! You impressed us all.

Had a text conversation with someone who worked there and they said they would order the dress, not informing me or the other bridesmaids that we needed to come in and make a down payment. They just said the dresses were ordered and gave us a time that they would be in. We called them after the dresses were supposed to arrive and they had no idea what we were talking about and treated us disrespectfully. I also did not enjoy my time in the shop itself, the woman there was not knowledgeable of how to actually measure people for dresses, didn't know the product and seemed very unprofessional and not engaging as she just let us roam without any direction in the shop. This store lost out on about $1000 with our wedding party, only shop here if you want unprofessional service.

We put a rush order on our bridesmaids dresses, and they still came in late. The dresses are overpriced, but worse of all they measured 3 of the 5 bridesmaids wrong! Definitely a scam, or they didn't know what they were doing. Either way, we had to spend more money elsewhere to get them in the correct size. Their excuse was that a lot of dresses are too long, which has never happened to me at any other place. But that wasn't the only problem, it was two sizes too big! They weren't apologetic at all, didn't offer any discount to get the dresses sized appropriately. Would not recommend going here if you want a decent dress with good service.
