Lydia is a great office manager and communicates very well, they provide updates throughout the entire process and my repair was completed a bit ahead of schedule! The quality of repair is well done and not noticeable compared to the surrounding area, paint matches perfectly and they even detailed the inside of my vehicle as well. They managed payment efficiently with my insurance provider, all I had to do was drop off my car and pick it up shortly after, no hoops to jump through or waiting for reimbursement everything was streamlined and efficient. I hope I don’t need their services again in the near future but if I do I’ll trust my body shop needs to the crew at car star Hamlin!”

“Kristi Hudson had been instrumental in procuring the correct catalytic converter for my 2004 Toyota Tundra pickup truck from the auto-parts supplier. Due to the corrosion on the defective catalytic converter, the mechanic had a difficult time of removing the bolts. Subsequently, the truck was transferred from Troy Auto Care II to Troy Auto Care on Austin Drive for additional repair work. The repair was accomplished professionally and in a timely manner. “When my car wouldn’t start, I took it to Car Aid in Shelby. After they replaced the starter motor and a battery cable, the car started fine — but once I drove home, it wouldn’t start again. When I had it towed back to Car Aid, they said they needed to charge another $450 just for further diagnosis and couldn’t tell me how much the repair would ultimately cost.
So, I had the car towed to South Street Auto Care instead. They quoted $850 for diagnosis alone, also with no clear estimate for the actual repair — even more expensive!
Finally, I brought my car to Bill’s Automotive. They diagnosed and fixed the problem for only $217.01. How can you beat that?”
