Today, I went shopping at this dollar general and received the most amazing service from amthe employee, Dana. I work in retail myself, so I know how frustrating it can get, and she had so much patience and was even understanding and nice about everything. I had to pay in two different ways and even ended up having to set aside something, because it turned out that I couldn’t afford it. And she was so very helpful and patient during both of the transactions while I was trying to figure it all out. I even ended up being .20 cents short and she actually contributed to the transaction. I really want to say thankyou to Dana today and let her know that I am so very grateful and appreciative to her for how she handled the transaction. She was professional, while also being very empathetic and kind at the same time!!!!

Stopped in today to get a few things. I did fine what I was looking for but when up at the checkout the employee was talking with another lady behind the counter. I took my things out of the basket and put on the counter to purchase. The employee did not stop talking with the lady behind the counter. Remind you there was only one employee working at the checkout. So the other lady was not on the clock. They both kept on talking thru out my checkout process with no eye contact with me during my sale or even have a nice day or anything. I thought that was quite rude for this employee to keep talking and not interacting with the customer. Is this how businesses are to be run? Customers should be your #1 priority.

Aiden deserves more than a raise. DG is not known for customer service, this location appears to be the exception.

I love shopping at this store. It is always stocked with what I need. So many items to choose. Prices are good AND I really love the staff. They are ALWAYS friendly and helpful. Rogers City has a winner!
