Save A Lot is a grocery store that many consider a home. Products are reasonably priced and the variety is decent with brand and off-brand selections. During a horrid ice storm that caused Rogers City to be declared a disaster zone, SavALot donated food MULTIPLE TIMES to the shelter during the weeks of no power, water or food. Family Fare would not. SavALot truly cares about the community beyond the dollar bill and deserves support. It is one of N.E. Michigan's needed stores, helping dollars go farther with a great selection. It is a pretty good alternative to gouging local Family Fare grocery and is right downtown, much closer to home. Inflation and food shortages cause changes in price and availability.
Amazing! I live for save a lot for some reason it's home. It's where I find myself whenever im visiting any town where I discover one.

Definitely one of N.E. Michigan's "needed stores". There are not a lot of grocery stores around here...So I am extra happy to have them...and they help my dollar go farther amongst their great selection.

Pretty good alternative to gouging local Family Fare grocery here. And...Sav a Lot is right downtown..Much closer to my home...
