I am not a person that typically enjoys shopping. My husband and i were exploring downtown Romeo before heading to Terror on Tillson. The window display caught my eye so I stopped to peak in the window and saw a beautiful and inviting shop. "I want to go in here!" I said to my husband who looked at me with some shock because that's not something he hears from me often! We were instantly greeted by the nicest people who offered us a beer or a glass of wine. They were seriously so nice that we accepted because hanging out with them for a bit seemed like an enjoyable thing to do. We later learned it was the owners of the shop, along with some of their friends. We browsed the shop and the anti-shopper (me) even fell in love with some beautiful, unusual Halloween decorations that I had to have. Between the owners being so great and the store itself being beautiful and having unique items that you can't just find anywhere, I will now go out of my way to return.

Old World Nouveau is a wonderful store packed full of so many fantastic items that you need to make more than one visit to see what you missed the last time and see what is new - from beautiful furniture pieces to candles, table decorations, clothing, on and on....... The owners are sweet, friendly and kind, and will gladly take the time to answer your questions and help you out! Shopping at Old World Nouveau is way worth the trip to Romeo, MI, and if you visit the shop and meet the owners one time, I guarantee you you'll grab some friends and want to go again!

Owner/employee yelling in front of young children. Making a scene because she was upset about someone parked by store while store was closed. Incredibly sad for children to witness this type of behavior. Will never again give this store our business.

This is an absolutely fabulous shop! My sister bought a piece of furniture for her dinning room area. We all also bought jewelry, seasonal decorations and knickknacks. Beautiful displays! Our sales lady was friendly and happy. We have been back several times since our original visit. Make sure you stop and shop here, when you visit Romeo!

Look carefully as you enter downtown Romeo or you'll miss this charming trip in to days gone by. Beautiful and reasonably priced furniture and accessories for every taste. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the products are well made. Having a rough day? A walk through this store will calm you and perhaps get your creative juices flowing. My go to place. Romeo's gem!

This store needs to be on everyone’s’ radar who likes to shop locally; a place with excellent service, high quality, unique items at excellent prices and nice people. We found this little gem of a shop when visiting family nearby and we were looking for a coffee shop. We found both. We found a beautiful cabinet for the living room and a counter-height bistro set for the walk-out and wine tasting. Both were on sale. How lucky are we? Run, do not walk, to this shop, today!

RUN, DO NOT WALK to this amazing store in the beautiful and quaint Village of Romeo on Main Street! We were meeting friends at a local coffee shop and happened to pass by Old World Nouveau and they were closed. It was a Monday...but we decided, after peeking through the window that we just had to make a trip back on the weekend. So glad we did! We purchased a beautiful bistro table with four stools and a gorgeous cabinet at prices so reasonable, and quality so high, we can't believe it! They have so much packed into this quaint little shop, you will enjoy exploring on both floors! Before I forget, the owners are wonderful and the delivery was expert and right on time! You really owe it to yourself to check this place out. Unique findings and reasonable prices with excellent service to match...a winninng combination!
