Very well located, close to the airport, has shuttle service, continental breakfast included and the rooms are good. Good service at the reception.

Friendly staff, nice bar with good food and drinks however the room they put me in was very outdated the heat halfway didn’t work I paid for three nights and couldn’t get sleep not one night! The people across from me and the people next to me had a room full of kids running the halls slamming doors and when I complained and asked to be moved I was told no smh never again!!!

The room is large with double beds, but one full bed is sitting on a queen size frame. The table leg is broken and propped in place. I had to straighten it out to keep it from falling over. The microwave doesn't work. The heater cover fell off and their was about 2 pounds of dirt inside of it. The television resets itself every time it's turned back on and has to be cycled through the Hdmi settings to pick up a channel. The old carpet that had been pulled up from other rooms are visible while walking through the halls.... some parts look like you're walking thru a horror movie. In all fairness the bed was comfy and I just needed sleep. The bathroom and room were clean as well. Their also is a non-communicated cash deposit of $140 at check-in.

The good. We were there to catch a football game in Ann Arbor so it's location next to the interstate was great. The front desk staff were great. Our room (especially the bathroom) was spotless and the bed was really comfortable. The bad. We were not told that the hotel was under renovation. The front lobby and the pool area were covered in construction dust and construction materials. When we checked into our room just before 5 pm, they were jack hammering across the hall. The free breakfast was poor quality, plastic cutlery and flimsy paper plates.

This is the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. How dare them post beautiful pictures of rooms that aren't at this location. The rooms here look like motel rooms. The pool and front area is updated and beautiful. Then when you get to your room it's terribly outdated and dirty. Service is terrible as well. They charge you extra if you live within 50 miles of hotel and they refund it once you check out which take a few days. I don't recommend this hotel. We will never return.

The Good: I didn't get bedbugs. The Bad: Don't let the interesting indoor pool area fool you. In order to get fresh towels, shampoo and conditioner, and clean sheets, make sure you bring your dirty stuff to the front desk first. They do not do any turn down service. Staff barely smiled or showed any friendly hospitality that I'm used to from even the worst hotels. Once you bring your stuff to the front desk, either wake up the concierge who is either sleeping or playing around on their smartphone. They will make sure to give you fresh supplies for your room with a fresh serving of annoyed attitude (I did wake them up from a good nap after all). They want them brought down in a bag so make sure you annoy them further by asking nicely if they could provide a bag for your laundry. You can get local tourism recommendations from the drug dealer that hang out near the back door asking if I wanted any weed. There were bags of trash left in the hallway (concierge's recommendation for trash removal) that were there two nights in a row. The room had a musty smell and bathroom was pretty grimy. Slimy tub floor, dirt and dust all around all the light fixtures. Shampoo bottles are tiny awkward rectangle shapes that made it a pain to squeeze out. I've stayed in bad hotels before but this one really lowered the bar. I've never had a hotel stay where I had to make my own bed. I've never had to wake up the person at the front desk. I've never had to get them to stop using their phone only to be told they wouldn't give me new towels until I brought down the dirty ones myself. I thought I was on a hidden camera show being pranked by how comically bad the amenities and staff were. I stayed here for 4 nights and regretted every one. Also mind you I didn't subtract any points from the renovations taking place during this time so the hallways smelled like paint the whole time. Incredible.

Worst experience I have had at a Wyndham property and I have been a Wyndham rewards member since 2006 and am currently a diamond member we traveled from Tennessee to Michigan for a funeral we were accommodated a free upgrade at check in but this just put more of a burden on our family rooms were VERY unsanitary there was big stains on the sheets bugs all over the floor hair all over the bathroom floor pop cans under bed tv wasn't working bathroom spout kept falling off no hot water we were not gonna complain we were just trying to stay for our family we asked for a late check out front desk advised us we could have a late check out at 12:30 when 11:00 came around they were banging on our doors telling us to get out when processing the front desk the 2 women were standing there talking about us and I walked up and let them know I was standing there she then told me I was good to stay till 12:30 they then kept knocking on the door so we just decided to leave went to the front desk to check out and they didn't want to provide a receipt after fighting for a receipt I realized they charged me money for my free upgrade I then got told the manger was off duty and there was nobody to speak to this was so devastating and very unprofessional after already dealing with family's funeral the sales director came out of the door flinging it open yelling and screaming at us. I never complain about my stay and I been a member for 17 years . Please take this matter in to consideration. If I could have picked a 0 star that's what it could have got

Quick check-in and Conveniently located but the rooms are extremely dated and smells like a wet dog. We asked if all there rooms smelled like this because we wanted to be moved to another room. I just wanted to smell the room before we requested a refund. We were told no because their rooms were sprayed for covid prior to each visit. We finally stated that we would take another room because of the smell and the lady at the desk said she would need to send someone to verify the smell. Wth! Dont put your feet on that nasty shower mat and please dont make coffee in that pot. Finally in a new room and no shower curtain and no desk chair... but at least it didnt smell like a wet dog.

The area by the swimming pool is the highlight of the hotel. But that’s about it.You get what you pay for… however, they require a $160.00 CASH deposit, you can’t get it back before 8:30 am and they only hold it for 7 days. The room and the hallways were a lil too shabby for my taste. I didn’t feel comfortable walking on the carpet without shoes. I don’t really see myself returning any time soon.Rooms: Kind of dingyWalkability: Around a lot of restaurants

I stayed one night here and despite the low/negative reviews, I want to say I had a fantastic experience. My room was clean overall and I would give it a 9/10. The one point deduction is only due to the normal and minor updates of the room that the hotel needs to make (which it looks like they are). Although spoken about in other reviews, I did not have experiences of any form of bugs in my room and definitely not roaches (and this was with me eating and snacking in my room heavily). The hotel also let me check out late and housekeeping didn’t knock on my door before the checkout times (which can’t be said for other hotels). When it comes to a hotel near the airport, I will choose here next time! It was super quiet besides the planes ✈️.

The server in their Restaurant/Bar was helpful. However, I would not recommend staying here. The room we were first assigned (1110) was down an unkept hallway with trash on the rug and a large red stain. The door would not open correctly after using the keyboard, and it took quite a lot to try to open it. Once the door opened, the light switch at the door did not work. We went back to the front desk for another room. They then provided us a card to a room on the second floor that was already in use by other guests. We ended up in a different room that had a running toilet. We reported the issues at the front desk so that they may hopefully be fixed for future guests.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and it exceeded all expectations. Its proximity to the airport, just a mere 6-minute drive, made it incredibly convenient for my travel plans. The spacious rooms were a delightful surprise, offering ample space to unwind and relax. The addition of a pool was a fantastic bonus, even though we didn't have the time to enjoy it.The inclusive breakfast was also a good treat. It had basic options like sausages, eggs, bread, coffee, waffle. Knowing that this was already factored into the stay was a nice touch. What truly impressed me was the affordability of this experience. Despite the high quality of service and amenities, the prices remained very reasonable.Overall, my stay was nothing short of exceptional. This hotel has managed to strike a perfect balance between comfort, convenience, and affordability. I wholeheartedly give it a five-star rating.

I had a layover in Detroit while flying back home. Unfortunately, my flight was canceled and I needed to stay somewhere for the night. After a quick Google search, I found Wyndam Gardens. There were a few negative reviews, but I didn't care, as long as I had somewhere to sleep.I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. The staff was wonderful and a big shout out to the shuttle driver, who was amazing. The room was clean and spacious there was absolutely nothing to complain about. I wish I had my luggage with me so I could relax in the pool, but alas, I had nothing. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling to the area.
