Good lounge, not too crowded with great apron views. Food is lacking at this location compared to the bigger lounges in the center of the A terminal.

If you are looking for a quiet Sky Club. I recommend A18.

Can’t say enough about the kind staff. The woman with blonde hair (I regret not getting her name) could not have been more helpful as I was weighing options for rebooking due a delayed flight. She spent so much time helping me get all the info we needed to predict which option was best, including looking into the inbound flights and crew assignments to make sure the flight I chose had a good chance of taking off on time with a flight crew available. Thank you so much for your kindness and help!

I love the club lounges at any Delta terminal that has one. It is completely worth it

There are three sky club lounges in terminal A. This was not full when I arrived. Otherwise, you will be turned away if club is in full capacity. Great place to reset. Detroit airport is a big airport.

Nice play to hang out, but way too crowded. They Need to stop selling day passes and limit guests

This is one of the best sky clubs for a smaller venue. Sheila is the best and is a professional bartender! It is nice to see old school hospitality and professionalism! Truly top notch!

We love the Delta Lounge. It is so relaxing and comfortable. We always find plenty of different foods to get us fed! The accommodations are perfect for work, socializing and privacy if needed. Expensive if you don't travel frequently

Based on recent travels, this has been my goto club at DTW. It's smaller but also is less busy then the rest. Hot food, hot coffee, open bar (if anxious traveler or going on vacation) and helpful and courteous staff. This location seems to take pride in how they look and customer service.

The main Delta Sky Club at DTW is the epitome of an airport lounge. I used to fly out of DTW every week, back when Northwest was the dominant carrier for the Motor City. I had achieved Platinum status based on short haul flights, more than 100 in a single year. Delta acquired Northwest some time ago. So I was in and out of this venue from the moment it opened up, and it set the standard. Years later, it holds up well. The lounge is spacious, well furnished, and run competently; check in is smooth, tables are bussed, the bathrooms are cleaned, etc. It is fancy for a basic domestic lounge, not in the same class as the American Express Centurion collection or overseas counterparts, but for what it is it is at the top of the class. It also does not get too crowded. Delta has multiple lounges in their terminal(s). That is the most thoughtful aspect of their planning. I now fly JFK airport as much as I flew DTW. Delta is not my favorite choice, simply because of the flight prices. But the Delta lounge at JFK is better than Alaska, and JetBlue has nothing. The British Airways lounge has more refreshment offerings and more room, but it is about to relocate in a manner that precludes convenient access for me. The one thing I don't understand about Delta's strategy is their Amex credit card. They offer a Delta branded Platinum card. It does not, however, gain the holder complimentary admission to the airport lounges. You have to pay, currently $39, set to be increased to $50. Yet the Amex Platinum, without the Delta logo, works for this purpose, sans fee. I'm not complaining; I'm merely curious why they would decide to set up their own credit card to be worse than the alternative.

Alway visit the club before my flight. Seating is comfortable and the buffet is perfect for a snake, full bar what more do you need.
