This place was very dirty, crowded, and smelly. The room i rented for space was literally in the pool area it was very loud and slippery. Couldn't enjoy family time. If they would’ve told me this then I wouldn't have came here. Staff was very unfriendly, lazy and not helpful at all. $225 is not worth it!

Each and every time I visit from Florida, I make sure I dine at this place. I love the atmosphere, food, and service. The last time I was in town was December 2022. This morning I was greeted by the same hostess from 2 years ago. I remembered her smile and friendly service. I can't wait to come back to Detroit to continue my Romulus House tradition ???☕

So clean and friendly. The amenities are great. Just wish the "family changing room" was bigger or more specific to families. I took my kiddo and while they were in the pool they had to go to the restroom... All of the family stalls were taken (noticably there was only one other family with a kid) and my kiddo needed a changing table. We had to hover over the normal restroom toilet far away from our diapers or belongings in the family changing room. Disappointed that single adults can't respectfully use their dedicated changing areas.

I'm sick n tired of the lazy lifeguards all they do is sit there and when kids jump on adults using the lazy river they just shrug thier shoulders and don't do anything plus some adults have something they use to help keep track of laps and kids come and grab them and when you try to get them back the Karen parents get all upset acting like we are hurting thier kids so romulus rec center I advise you to inform parents coming in that thier kids are to leave people's stuff alone YOU used to run a great place BUT your new people are to soft to do thier jobs

Charged $5 to bring a guest which recently increased to $10. Do I not pay to come here? I don’t appreciate the price gouging I’m sure they make more than enough to not be pinching Pennies from their “valued members”

This place is trash...They charge the full $15 even though we are a resident and I have my sitter bring my driver's license to prove our residency while taking my kids to swim. Secondly, they charge the REQUIRED ADULT SUPERVISION full admission to sit around and watch the kids but doesn't partake in any REC activities.Then their no swim times for swimming lessons are redicules. The slide doesn't open until 1pm as well as other popular areas of the pool. Then on top of all that; their slide and hot tub are broken half the time but they offer a discount for 50% of the pool activities missing, ultimately making it pointless to go here much of the time.Romulus Rec Center needs to up their game and stop being so ghetto! ? going elsewhere from here on out.
