Had a generator delivered. There was ample space in the garage. The driver pulled off to the side, got the generator out with an electric pallet jack and would not bring it down the driveway. He left it at the top of the drive. Load up his jack amd lefy. Its not like we can carry it the rest of the way. If only there was an electric pallet jack to bring it down... well there was. Very unhappy. Wish I could give zero stars.
I would also like to note that the driver left before I could open up the cardboard and check for damage. I'm just hoping all the parts are there and undamaged

Just had a delivery from R & L carriers. Keith The driver was absolutely excellent! Extremely helpful, courteous, and on time. called in advance to let me know he was on his way. Dispatch also was great on informing me of his ETA. Would recommend R&L for any deliveries.

We were due to be delivered a water softener last Friday, August 16. In addition to being unprofessional throughout the entire process, the delivery person not only RISKED but CAUSED harm, both to the package and to me, who am a disabled veteran. There are multiple aspects of this “delivery” that should be brought to the attention of management, so here is the breakdown:
1. The delivery person did not introduce or identify himself when he arrived.
2.He proceeded to leave the package on the dirt driveway in the pouring rain and then demanded that I sign the paperwork so he could leave.
3. When I asked if he could bring the package onto the porch out of the rain, he snapped in a rude tone “If you’re gonna help me, but I’m not taking it myself.”
4. I have a back injury. When I told the delivery person this, he ignored me and told me to hurry and sign the paperwork. This was before he even moved it onto the porch.
5. With the delivery person’s poor attitude and constantly rushing me, I felt I had no choice but to help move the package onto the porch to prevent it from being immediately damaged by the rain, although one bad movement or slip could have sent me to the ER or caused even more damage to my back.
6. To make matters worse, he had me hold the package from the top, which put a lot of strain on my back as we went up the steps. Later that day, I experienced a significant degree of back pain (more than I normally do).
7. He damaged the box by shoving it onto the porch and tearing it open. When I asked about the hole, he said I had nothing to worry about and to hurry up and sign the paperwork.
8. When I insisted that I needed to inspect the package before signing anything, he rudely demanded “just sign the paperwork because I gotta leave.”
I have received many deliveries at this address, even large items, and never has anyone left the package in the driveway or refused to fully deliver it to the porch. Is it standard practice for R&L Carriers to leave items in the rain where they will be immediately damaged? Is it standard practice to damage the package, as this delivery person did by shoving it onto the porch? Is that how R&L operates, to pressure disabled veterans into risking further harm and injury?
I doubt management or the owner are looking for a lawsuit, so you should be aware these things are happening. I looked on the receipt for the delivery person’s name, which appears to be listed as “Grypz.”

Watch out for their truck drivers ,I had one of their trucks pull out in front of me and cut us off ,we swerved into the far right lane and luckily no one was coming(in traverse city) i yelled at him and he smirked and wagged his fingers at me like it was funny,i called his supervisor who asked me what i expected him to do and was very rude to me.we had our grandson in the car which was so scary!they do not care what their drivers do .

Online tracking of shipped item was precise. First contact by phone with an employee named Matt was professional, friendly and courteous. My Item arrived at RL around 9:45pm and it was in the back of my pickup by 10:15am the next morning. Forklift driver did a fine job also. Much appreciated, thank you.

Didn't even show up in local hub until two days past delivery time. No phone calls no reason. Went to hub and picked it up myself. Terrible.

We had a large piece of glass delivered in rural Michigan, and Joe, the driver, was as concerned as we were that it was not damaged in transit. It was not, but he waited for for us to check it before asking me to sign for it. He was helpful in everyway. I'm now a fan of R&L Carriers.Freight Bill #I053850411. Shipped from Manassas VA to Tawas City, Michigan. From
