Spoke with someone on the phone who was very rude . As an employee working a job , your customer service should be great towards your customers . My ex bought me a necklace that i no longer want , i have the receipt but since it was a GIFT to me i do not have his card that he paid with obviously . I called and asked what was the return policy and the lady i spoke with got smart with me . For one , her attitude was unnecessary and two , to anyone who is looking to shop here if you aren’t paying cash don’t bother. Before he gifted me the necklace , i seen reviews saying the same but thought it would be fine but it’s not . Also i just wanted to mention having a policy of a gift receipt isn’t unheard of . It’s plently of stores where if you gift someone something , they can go to said store WITH THE RECEIPT and return it for cash or store credit. if i was someone trying to do fraud i wouldn’t even have the receipt …. i would just try to return said item without proof but that wasn’t the case . will never be purchasing from here again. also wish i could’ve gotten the lady’s name who i spoke with on the phone.

Kay's Jewelry stores have a terrible return policy. I bought a watch for $600 in cash, it's not quite right for me. I went to return it to the Macomb Mall store on a Thursday. They could not refund my money. They had no money in store. They want me to wait 14 days for corporate to mail me a check and then wait 5 days that my bank will hold it. That's 20 days for a refund. Unacceptable in today's market. They gladly took my money, yet when you want a refund still within the 30 day window, they can't help you. I am still waiting to find a Kay store to do a refund, called 4 and none have money to help. They are hoping it gets close to the 30 days so I just take the check. I will not shop at Kay's again.And I was also told to call the around at other Kays to see if they had any sale for a refund.. I've always shopped with them but never AGAIN. if the return policy is "Back how they received" Why cant I get MY CASH?! I don't wanna wait on my money & YOU GUYS have your product. NOT FAIR... And I'll be coming out a check cashing fee as well.. WHAT A INCONVENIENCE..

Marissa and the other staff at Kay Jewelers are AWESOME & AMAZING! My Aunt went for their diamond and design event to replace a gemstone that was damaged in a very special and sentimental ring. She left the store very happy and satisfied. The results were better than she had imagined.Marissa cleaned her other jewelry and had her almost in tears. I was too...just from the service to their custom work; they are professionals whose expertise is unmatched. Ill be back to get something special for myself at their next event. Thank you for being so nice and making our day. ?

The employee seemed inconvenienced to have to show me multiple items. Not very welcoming. Very inconvenient return policy if you are paying in cash. Do not recommend in my opinion.
