I always trust Midway. They've fixed my transmission before and it was a really good job. Had a problem with my new vehicle and a friend thought it was the transmission. Went straight to Midway and Fred ran the codes and let me know it definitely was NOT the trans. They don't make up problems that aren't there. They embody the kind of helpful mechanic we are all looking for.Also, because they specialize in transmissions, they can get your vehicle done and back to you faster than a general repair shop can. I have absolute faith in their ability and business. I'm sure you will, too.

Found midway as a referral met with Fred Sr on my race truck I was very impressed with how clean his facility and his knowledge.Fred got me in and out within a couple days did a complete rebuild on the trans couldn’t be happier with the work and prices.If you’re looking for a quality transmission repair shop it’s not out to screw you this is it i will be referring FredOh my friends and family.Service: Transmission

Took my ancient car in, expecting to drop it off for a few days until they could get to it, and Fred sr. went right out and did a diagnostic in the parking lot, immediately. Unfortunately the parts I needed were no longer manufactured, though Fred sr. did a lot of detective work trying to find them for me. I was very taken care of by them, and will be filing their shop away for the next time I need transmission work done. Thanks, all!

Deserves zero stars. Went in to talk to Fred about getting some work done. As Fred and I were discussing the repairs and the pricing, some douche bag comes out of the shop and thought he would talk to me as if i were his child. If i wasnt in such a good mood, i would have taught the little lady a lesson. But he knows what he is ..... This is your typical business that was probably a great shop at some point. But it will be shut down within 2 years when the owner retires or passes away. Because the other people will get no work because they dont know how to respect customers and probably know 1/4 of what Fred knows. I could see the disappointment on Freds face. He knows whats going to happen too.

Fred and Fred Jr. are both very nice people. When I explained the problem I was having, Fred scanned my car and took it out for a check ride. He told me that it wasn't my transmission and explained what the problem was. Should I have a problem with the transmission in the future, I will be heading to their place of business without a doubt.

They are reasonable and had my truck done same day. I only trust Fred to fix my lines. He also put in a new trans in my daughters van
