Stop trying to steal people money .They manager tried to say I brought the truck back on a empty tank and charge me $70 extra.I declined coverage and he still added to my bill.Read your paperwork before you leave and make sure u take a picture of the fuel level .They are scam artists here

I had placed an order to rent the 26” truck for pickup on 7/16 for 4 days (7/25-7/29) from the U-Haul of Roseville location. On 7/20, a representative called me regarding a “special offer”. The offer was for $100 off the rental if I would be willing to pick up the truck roughly 40 miles away from the original location. I explained that I would not agree to this, as gas alone would cost roughly that. I also asked for confirmation that I would still be picking up my truck from U-Haul of Roseville on 7/25 and was assured that I would be. On 7/24, another representative called me, telling me (not asking) that I would now have to pick up the truck from a different location than I had agreed to. This location was farther away and there was no mention of compensation for this.
On 7/25 I picked up the truck at the new location. The store employee took me to the truck and did not allow me to show him issues I had with it (the driver’s side front bumper was visibly damaged and loose.) The store employee simply told me to “file a complaint on the app”. The contract for the truck also stated it had half a tank of gas, and it was much less than that. Finally, we had purchased moving blankets with the rental that we were charged for but never received.
On 7/27, two days before the truck was due, an employee at the U-Haul location that I was due to drop the truck at contacted me. He asked if there was any possibility that we could return the truck early. I told the employee that, while it would be an inconvenience, I could possibly drop it off early for a discount (once again, this would be dropping it off for half of the duration I purchased). I was told there would be a discount involved.
On 7/28, I attempted to drop off the truck and speak to a representative at the U-Haul location around 12:00 pm (their hours stated that they would be open until 2:00 pm). When I arrived, the store was locked and there was a note plastered to call the same number that asked me to drop off the truck early. After calling, the store representative told me to just leave the truck and drop the keys in the lockbox- no mention of any kind of discount. We did end up dropping the truck off two days early, with more gas in it than it originally had. This was extremely disappointing as we rushed the previous evening and that morning to finish everything so that we could return the truck and to speak to someone regarding the missing moving blankets as well as show them the previous damage and photos regarding the gas level at pickup.
On 7/29, I received my “final receipt” from U-Haul. U-Haul did not provide any type of discount for the hassle I had picking up the U-Haul, nor the fact we dropped it off 2 days early, nor the fact we paid for moving blanket rentals that we never received. U-Haul did, however, bill us for an extra 3 gallons of gas, claiming the tank was under half (funny enough, they are claiming the level is at about where it was when I picked the truck up).
All in all, I cannot recommend this company less. Please take your business to Penske or any other competitor- I promise you they cannot be worse!

Ryan was fantastic to deal with , Will for sure go to this location again if need arises , He was more than professional and great to communicate with he got me exactly the type of trailer I needed . They guy that helped me was friendly he was taking care of me and three other people at the same time but was never mean or rude to any of us handling his self and his job very well I would recommend people to come there anytime thank for the excellent service..

Staff here are mostly helpful. I had to change my pick-up & drop-off times several times because movers were delayed due to snow. Would be 5 stars if I could access my storage unit after hours like I asked for. Unfortunately, I now have a 20 foot truck FULL with belongings. My movers and I went to the unit at 10p and the 24 hour access was not granted, despite paying extra. So, now, I am stuck with a full 20 foot truck, NO MOVERS and NO ACCESS TO A UNIT FOR MY STUFF and the truck is supposed to be returned at by 9a for another rental. Annoyed.

Bad service Nad what is asked for was not given.I asked for a trailer with a 6 foot wide ramp and what I got was a 6 foot wide trailer with a 4.6 foot wide ramp. Drove 4 hours to find out I had a useless brick. And than they dontveven answer the phone

It took me about 30minutes to just get my U-Haul. It was highly annoying. The man working at U-Haul was so awesome, being patient and helping anyway he could. I just wish I knew in advance I needed to upload photos and have a reference.

Says access anytime 5-10pm can’t access be locked , got changed to cards nobody updated me can’t get into my unit never always have issues . Also shares costumer info outside to strangers .
