As a first time home buyer, I was losing hope when I first reached out to JSA. I had been searching for a quality realtor, with no luck. Everybody said it was a sellers market. Nobody went above and beyond.
Colleen Murphy was the first person I spoke with when I first called JSA. She immediately went to work on helping me and my pregnant girlfriend into a house. By the next day, she had me speaking to Ryan Fazio. And within 3 months, Ryan Fazio had sold me a house. Not only a house, but a house within my budget that I felt comfortable to grow in.
Ryan Fazio is hands down the best realtor and top agent in metro Detroit. He was always available to help, deeply knowledgeable not only in sales but in what to look for when buying. He didn't just want to sell me a house. He wanted to be honest and sell myself and my pregnant girlfriend a home that we could feel safe and financially comfortable in. He wasn't just looking for a commission. He was really looking to help.
Im so glad that I called JSA, and found Ryan and Colleen. They've done so much for me and my family. And I consider them true friends now.

As a first time home buyer in this market I was very nervous about the whole process. Jim Shaffer and his team made the whole experience a breeze. Had the pleasure to have Will Robinson guide me through every step. He was extremely fast, honest and went above and beyond to help me find the perfect house. 10/10 I worked with Brenden D he’s the best realtor around town. He taught me a lot about homes and told me everything along the process that I needed to do. He went above and beyond for someone who doesn’t understand one thing about a home!! I would recommend him to anyone I know!!

Bryan Lark has got to be the best realtor in Oak Park! He was so wonderful to work with. Communicative, friendly, prompt and made me feel so comfortable with the process, which was all new to me. It sounds like Jim Shaffer is a great company to work for, too, which always matters to me.

JSA and their broker Justin Lyons were so responsive to our many requests to look at houses. Justin actually helped us write a winning offer while pulled over on the road with an unexpected deadline while we were on our way to look at another house!
Though the process could be a bit-bananas for us and the kids, throughout the entire search, Justin was patient, gracious with his time, and warm and kind with our kids.

JSA was phenomenal to work with from the original phone screen with Colleen getting to know me; and all the way up until I purchased my new home. The entire time I felt like a real person and not just a number. They made sure to spend time up front getting to know who I am, and what I am looking for, before knowing how much I am worth when it comes to purchasing a home. As a first time home buyer that was a massive help.
If you are purchasing a home in the Shelby Twp area the absolute best realtor to work with is Adrienne Swartz! She not only knows how to find you the home you are looking for, but takes the time from day one to make sure you are educated and know what you are doing each step of the way. Timely responses, a wealth of information, professionalism, and everything you are looking for in a realtor is what Adrienne brings to the table. I told Adrienne that I expected this to be a long, stressful, and anxiety inducing journey. Then, in just under a month I was telling her I felt as though I'd done nothing other than find the home I was looking for as she ensured everything else was taken care of fully.
