The exterior of this grocery store looks recently remodeled, but don't let that fool you. Once inside, it's a completely different story. The floors are dirty, and the overall look is outdated and worn. On top of that, the prices are outrageous—there’s no reason they should be this high. I stopped here by accident and can say confidently that I won't be returning. If you're looking to overpay, this is the place to go; otherwise, steer clear."

A great corner market with a solid selection of products and eager, helpful, and friendly staff. The butchers selection of beef is very nice especially. Unfortunately they do charge a bit of a premium price. Otherwise theyre top notch!

Our family uses Fresh Approach multiple times per week. From larger shopping trips, to stopping for lunch, or some drinks, it is always a great experience. We know all the workers, who always greet us by name, and love seeing our toddler come with us. When he isn't there, they ask us how he is. Food quality is great, and pricing is fair. Lots of variety for a smaller store. GF options available for breads, snacks, and frozen meals! They are part of the reason we choose to stay in our neighborhood!

Almost every other time I buy food from here in the past few months, something is wrong. Either the cheese is moldy (when the expiration date is months from now), or the produce is already bad. I bought this eggplant today and was not able to cook the dinner planned because it was already rotten.

Have spent thousands of dollars here since moving to Madison Heights in October 2022. At first, we were absolutely thrilled to have a nice small grocery store near us that had a great quality selection. We were fine with their prices being a bit more than normal, because we like to support local. Our first bad experience was attempting to return bad smelly discolored salmon from their frozen section. We took pictures of the bad product, showed it to a worker in Deli, only for her to argue with us then call (as what we're assuming the owner or the manager), for him to defend the product and tell us nothing was wrong (after finally giving us credit in their store). Since then, we've continued to shop here for convenience and non-bulk items. We've bought multiple loafs of bread that molded after only a few days of purchase, along with multiple purchases of "Fresh Sliced" deli meat that turned slimey and tasted off after only a few days after purchase as well, and multiple cheese/vegi/fruit purchases that molded weeks before the Sell by date. We will no longer spend any money here, and will go to Kroger or Aldi for similar purchases. We've shopped here 20-30 times since moving, and only 5-6 bad experiences, but that's a large enough percentage to never come here or recommend this place again. The hassle for a refund is not worth it, as well as second guessing every purchase.

Awesome meat counter. Can get in and out of the store quickly. Prices are a bit higher, but the convenience is worth it.
