“I have both ordered online and driven up to the store from the Cleveland area just to shop here. They have the best selection of AK Interactive paints and other weathering solutions around. They also have access to old Andrea figures. Ordering online is gratifying and they are very responsive and let you know as you are ordering if it will take a little longer to get something. My wife goes up with me and gets to visit with the store cat, Stella.”

“Saw this place and finally walked in. Family owned, super cool people. If you like to save money, this place is not for you because whatever your holy grail toy is (Panthro) they have it. Bonus points for meeting super cool down to earth Ari Lehman or First Jason! I always say “sell an experience” they did just that.”

“I called them several years ago because I heard the owner of Bru-Line also owned this hobby shop before he passed away. I was looking for the Bru-Line air filters and no one else had them. The lady I talked to was very nice and filled my order. I have since told others online about Prop Shop Hobbies.”

“A miniature modeling, RC slot car, die cast, and electric train haven in Macomb County.Staff: very limited interactions with staff; I suspect this is a family business, with potentially a few outsiders. The staff is polite and courteous.Inventory: Huge selection of miniatures and modeling kits, supplies, accessories, and tools. Electric trains and Slot cars are the next heaviest inventory. They have a vast array of die cast, across multiple scale options (1:18, 1:64, and more). They also carry Games Workshop miniatures and Citadel paints at reasonable prices.Appearance: Outdated; the store looks to have been opened in the 90's and the only real changes that have been made since, have been the inventory. Recognizing the renovations are generally an extraneous cost, when your business is thriving, this may be a deterrent for new customers (but not me). Well organized, but tall aisles and limited visibility mean you will wander the store until you find what you're looking for (or ask for help).”

“This place is great! I Called in to check for availability as they usually only do by appointment only. But I was able to come right on in when I called on a Thursday. Small parking lot, so caution if you have a large truck like I do.The owner Todd was very nice and welcoming and was happy to show me some great items for sale or quick to teach you something about stamps! In addition to stamps for sale and stamp collecting supplies. They also had some great coins and currency for sale as well as supplies for those too. I can't wait to come back and spend a whole day here!”

“Ken was cordial and knowledgeable. Unfortunately he and the prior customers did not wear their masks covering their nose. Being seniors you would think they would be extra cautious.”

“This has been my card shop for 20 years and ran by the same owner. He carries an amazing selection of new and vintage cards along with all of the cart supplies that you could dream of. His prices are great and he doesn't overcharge. He works with you on payments and if you need something just let him know when he will order it for you. He knows the industry front and back and will give you sincere advice on whatever card topic you may have. I recommend this place over other card shops in Michigan This is the place to go if you need something.I recommend stopping in taking a walk around and I guarantee you'll walk out with something.”

“Went in hoping to find a card or two for my set…. ended up walking out with 10! The service was great and the price was better than fair. 10/10 would recommend if you live around Metro Detroit. Worth the half hour drive I took!”

“Now that I know exactly where Blick Art Materials is, I've been there twice this month. The gentleman at the front counter is very helpful and knowledgeable about the merchandise they carry. Plenty of stock, neatly I organized at comparable pricing. The parking is a bit iffy, sometimes it's available and sometimes I have to cruise around the area.”

“This is a great place to meet up with people to play any number of games. On top of that, they have a full bar with some nice local brews. It's been years since I've played Magic or role-playing games -- the last time I played D&D, Forgotten Realms was brand new. But I see people having a good time, and that is what matters. I come on Saturdays have a beer or two and chat with the bartender/shopkeep. Super nice guy. If I knew a few folks who were interested, I would get a game of Axis & Allies or Arkham Horror going.”

“Great experience, she actually gave me a little bit more than I had expected from my research. No complaints, friendly and went through every single coin in my collection.”

“We found the owners here to be knowledgeable, friendly and fair. We wanted to determine what to do with some older jewelry and they answered questions and were helpful. We also sold a few pieces and the price exceeded our expectations!”

“Just stopped in with my son because he was looking to sell some cards. Not my kind of place, personally, but they're always professional and courteous when dealing with my son. That counts for a lot in my book.”

4.2 Good42 Reviews

“This place is exactly what we were looking for. My son is into everything and having the option to buy high quality with service and repair makes the investment worthwhile. I met the owners and they took us on a full tour of the store. Love this place! Will be back.”

“What a store! This place looks unassuming from the outside, but it's a treasure trove on the inside. Board games, tabletop RPG books, comic books, all that kind of stuff. The building is big and packed wall to wall with everything you could want.Staff was also very kind and helpful.Fully recommend checking this place out!”

“This Barnes & Noble is located on the Wayne state university campus. As expected in Midtown the parking is street parking. Upon entering the building there is a separate café that is different from the Starbucks café. There is a lot of Wayne State merch. Office supplies were largely marked up. I came mostly for the Barnes & Noble aspect, I was disappointed in the limited selection of books- only 5 to 6 rows of books that were mostly geared towards young adult and fiction. The Starbucks city area was quite large with many students studying it hanging out. I would consider this location if you're already in the area and need a place to get Coffee or do work, but I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to check this place out unless you really need to for the bookstore.”

“They’re doing themselves a disservice by not fixing the neon light that displays their name at the front of the building. Good experience as usual, Chrissy was very nice and explained some new framing products, as well as trying to pitch us on the credit card. BIG sales after Christmas that looked good.”

“I had no problem parking right out front. The meters were easy to understand. You can pay with credit cards OR quarters. If you choose the text receipt, the time is displayed for you. The meters are HEAVILY monitored, so feed the damn meter! The store itself has a good selection. Items are displayed nicely. The prices are average for collegiate apparel. It could have better lighting. The staff has NOT been helpful or friendly. I have visited three times and have had the same experience each time. It has never been busy. I have not yet visited while classes were in session. That may or may not change the parking situation or volume of shoppers.”

“I'm a pretty regular customer, always feel welcomed! Cashiers are always very kind. Nice quiet environment to get your craft shopping done stress-free. Always stocked better than Hobby Lobby or Joann.”

3.9 Good156 Reviews

“This shop is super congested with a lot of product, it feels overwhelming and difficult to sift through. They have a decent selection of pokemon cards that are borderline overpriced according to tcg player.”

“If anyone recommends to buy or sell coins, I recommend this place because this is the best coin shop around here and I'm satisfied with the customer service over there”

“Michaels has a UPS courier parcel pickup service where you can go to pick up packages and parcels that could not be delivered to your residence (or the address provided). The people working the counter are very courteous and do their best to get parcels to the customer. People looking to pick up a parcel should allow an extra day after they receive their notification from UPS before going to Michaels to pick up the package/parcel because it usually takes a day for UPS to drop the item off at Michaels.”
