At this particular location they also sell clothing. I found a pair of jeans that were my size that I thought would fit so I went and took them to the self-check and I self checked myself out. Nothing informed me about anything unusual with these pants and I didn't notice anything and the way things turned out I didn't keep track of my receipt somehow I lost it. And what I mean is that they didn't tell me to go through the cashier check out for these pants because as it turns out there's a little anti-theft tag on them and I didn't see that until I got home. Well without the receipt they won't take the anti-theft tag off but they didn't tell me I needed to keep the receipt and they didn't tell me there was a tag that needed to be removed or else I guess it looks like you stole them but I didn't steal them so I contacted them and I used my online Kroger discount card the one in their not so helpful app, and they basically told me to just go jump. So now I have the pants I can wear them I guess it'll look like I stole them but are they going to accuse me of stealing them because I didn't. I guess I could just wear them with the stupid little tag. Where they said technically I could return them without the receipt and they would give me in-store credit so then I could just buy them again maybe with the in-store credit and then get the tag removed so why don't they just remove the tag? Do they not have a copy of my receipt do they not have video of me buying the pants do they think that I stole them they haven't come out and accused me of stealing them.

Kroger collects your personal and financial data at check out. On my last shopping trip, I swiped one form of payment at checkout but the Kroger scanner "selected" a different credit card that was still in my wallet for payment. Despite multiple denials from Customer Service, an assistant manager finally admitted this was "a fluke" and refunded my money. Who really knows how much personal and banking information Kroger collects from you when you check out? Hollywood Market is right across the street.

I was totally embarrassed when I tried to use my United Health Care card for food items. The cashier claimed it was because of a power outage. Strange how it only affects UHC cards

Cash withdrawal scam at Kroger. When you got through the checkout line with a card, you are asked if you want cash back. No mention of a service fee is on the screen, YET. You enter your PIN and get your card back and Once you are about to finalize the transaction, suddenly a message about a fee for the cash back appears asking you if you accept it. If you hit "no" the entire transaction is cancelled, not just the cashback and you have to run your card through all over again. You know damn well Kroger could inform you in advance of a charge to get cash, but they count on you being impatient and just going tbrough with it. Kroger is attempting to create a monopoly on retail groceries by buying up all competitors and merging. If they accomplish this they will bleed us dry with sky high prices.

Kroger is not a great store to begin with, but this one is the worst. Everything looks picked over and just a mess. Then their service is non-existent. The final straw came tonight. With only a handful of registers open, i have to wait in a 30+ line. I finally get to the reqister, just after the guy ahead of me. Suddenly, the lady closes the lane and say. "This lane is closed. We will take you on 11". This seemed fine until we noticed that there is a 30-40 person line there. "Wait, miss...are you saying we have to wait in that line again? We just wait thru this already." She just looks atvus, say "yup!" And waddles off. No attempt to even help. Thie puckup service is a joke. Half of whats in the store is not available for pickup and what is is often out and subject to "substitutions." Do yourself a favor and just go to Hollywood Market at 12 & Campbell or on mainstreet, or Holiday market. Kroger get no biz from me any more.

Avoid this store during the weekend! Very few checkout lanes open and the self checkout only has one lane available. Why can't Kroger employ more people??

This morning right at the fro t of the cooler is a half gallon almond milk clearly labeled as a customer return. Unbelievable how little anyone cares about even attempting to do a good job. Thankfully the cashiers at this store are really friendly and helpful.

This place is absolutely awful about having enough lanes open. Loads of self checkout but very few available. They are characterized by this, not an anomaly unfortunately.

There are four self checkout sections. Each section has six registers. There's only one section open, and, LITERALLY, 43 people in one long, Long, LONG line.I asked the manager if he knew how long the line was and he said yes but had no employees available to staff the 18 unused SELF-CHECKOUTS.Hey you corporate Kroger idiots: WHAT'S THE POINT OF *SELF*-CHECKOUTS????????

I see so many reviews stating the long wait times as the reason for Kroger's less-than-stellar reviews. Yeah, the lack of open registers sucks but I am a self-checkout gal, so I don't mind. Plus their staffing never bounced back after COVID (a lot of people didn't return), not that they ever had great checkout service. Staff is great but wait was awful. So my 2 stars isn't about the wait. My 2 stars is solely on product. First, their prices, even sale prices, are ridiculous. It won't break the bank but their "deals" are few and far between. Meijer is hands down cheaper for basics. Meijer also has better meats and, here is the real rub, better produce. This is a 2 star issue for any Kroger I have ever been to - their horrible produce. Overpriced for old, gross produce that they hold onto far past their prime. Their pre-cut fruit is always, ALWAYS slimy. I wonder if it's cut off-site, frozen and then shipped because anytime i buy it, yes I check the date, it's slimy and turns acidic within 24 hours. Their veggies are always the lowest quality. I think they get the bottom barrel from distributors because it's just sad. Not to say some things aren't decent but why pay more for decent, when you can go someone that has pride in their products and pay the same (or less) for great. It's just overpriced low/middle road junk.

Every time that I go in this place they have three of the four self checkout lines closed. And one GIGANTIC line that often nearly goes to the other end of the store! All kinds of customers in there yet they're too cheap to pay another couple employees to staff up those other lines. UNACCEPTABLE. Last time I went in there I was fed up and asked to talk to the manager about it. The manager would not respond, guess they are cowards and can't face questions in front of a bunch of people waiting much longer than they should. Is Kroger losing money? Are these managers squeezing out profits so they can get their bonus checks? Are they incompetent? Whatever their excuse, doesn't matter to me - I'm done shopping at this place. They disrespect their customers with this BS. Buh-bye.

Don't even bother. This is by far the worst grocery store in the area. When this place first opened up a couple years ago I was happy as hell to have it here. Fast forward to today and nothing is in stock and the wait times to check out are absolutely horrendous. They only have one self checkout lane whenever I have been there. I get that you may not have the staffing to open up more registers, but the very least you could do is open up the rest of the self checkout lanes including those on the pharmacy side. I don't know if the problem is lack of employees or just poor management but there is just no reason to shop here. Go to Hollywood market or Meijer instead.

It's a nonstop problem at Kroger! One or two checkouts open and a giant line at least half way back to the back end of the store for self checkout... Do better Kroger!

I just went to Kroger and picked the last milk available from their shelves. I then went to purchase the milk and did so. After purchase was complete I put the milk into my cart and the cart broke, and my milk fell on the floor and broke open. The service desk was closed and the clerk on duty refused to help me and was upset that I had a milk leaking in the store. I will not be going back.
