They buy vintage items. I’ve sold several pieces to them and have never been disappointed with what they have paid me.

I mean I don’t know where to begin. I’m an avid vintage/consignment shopper and have been to shops all over the world (Tokyo, Rome, London) but this one is consistently the BEST. Most unique stuff that is proper vintage - anything from custom tailored with no label to luxury designer pieces like Pucci. The owner Amanda is there every. single. time. I go, which is often, and offers the most genuine advice and input. Make sure you have enough time to shop… it’s your fault if you leave empty handed ;)

Stopped in with a very specific ask, and was BLOWN AWAY with the customer service. I was looking for a button-up, semi-formal shirt, with a floral print, in modern size 2x or 3x for men. One of the workers, Maryn, went above and beyond to help me find something. Not only did she help me search the racks, she looked in the back for merchandise that hadn't been put out yet. Given it's so hard to find a vintage shirt for larger dudes, she came up with *several* good options, and one of them was absolutely perfect. It came from the back and I'd have never found it on my own. I tip my proverbial hat to Maryn for her *incredible* help finding me something that's so hard to find. Thank you! 11/10. Oh . . . And the shirt was $35. Positively affordable. Amazing.

Every time we travel we try to find a good vintage spot. Very rarely do we come across a place as awesome as what we have back home. We've been coming to Lost and Found for over a decade and we have never been disappointed. The staff is always welcoming. Never pushy or standoffish. They give the assistance you need if you need it and the space you need to experience the space and selection. They have some of the best curation I've seen. I often find myself encouraging my wife to get more which is a very rare occurrence. They have such great pieces and have given my wife and I some of our most worn and complimented items. Also, ALWAYS have your Shazam app at the ready. If you aren't hearing the music you know and love you will hear music you want to add to your next playlist.

Great selection and quality. I've bought and sold to them and both went great. The staff is very knowledgeable and very friendly and helpful. When I brought in items that it turned out ther were not interested it. They still geve my some useful info and suggested others who may be interested. When I was buying they made some great suggestions, but no "hard sell" and were, as usual, very helpful. I highly recommend them if selling or buying. I would suggest you call before heading out to sell, just to find out if it's something they are interested in.

Very impressive selection of vintage clothing. All eras...from 40s to 2000s. Loved the atmosphere, and staff were friendly and helpful even just before closing time. I will definitely be back. Some real gems in this store!

Perfect intersection of price and quality. Huge variety of pieces, thoughtfully curated, but reasonably priced. I got a killer pair of purple snakeskin mens loafers for less than 50 bucks all-in. This isn’t a thrift store so don’t expect thrift store prices—it’s a vintage store with high quality pieces that are sure to get compliments! The owner went out of her way to help pull dresses that fit the specific style I mentioned I was looking for, and even flagged a few shoes in my size when I mentioned how I struggle to find large vintage womens shoes (the size 10 struggle!). Definitely my new favorite spot in the area.

I called to possibly sell back some vintage jewelry- 20 minutes later I had received a fair price and dealt with the owner directly who could not have been more professional. I will be going back.

It wasn't THAT long ago that Royal Oak had several great vintage clothing stores, but sadly this is the only one remaining from that heyday. I think Lost and Found is an exceptionally well merchandised store and I'm glad it's still around, but nowadays they mostly cater towards 70s/80s style as I'm sure that's what sells best for them. It's a great store for 70s tees and jeans, but I collect 20s, 30s, 40s, and those pieces in the store (all 8 of them, the same 8 that have been there all year) are untouchable because they're displayed high on the walls. Obviously, I'm not going to ask an employee to take down all of those dresses so I can inspect the condition, price, size, etc. If you're that worried, put them on a rack near the counter with a sign that says "fragile"! The other bummer is they have a really low turnover rate for everything but their tees, which I suspect is related to their higher prices.

The clothing here is top notch, the prices are on the high end and that is why I have rated Lost and Found 4 stars.

The first time I came with a friend before and we just browsed before our brunch! It was so cute and you could tell they had high quality pieces, so I came back a week or so later to get a pair of light wash high-waisted jeans. Andrew was so kind, he helped me figure out the style of jean I was looking for and personally brought me 4 pairs to try on. I ended up with an AMAZING Calvin Klein high waisted light wash jean that fit me wonderfully. This store is amazing and as an avid thrift store shopper, the quality here is 10/10. Is it more expensive than a super cheap thrift store, yes. Is it worth paying a bit more every single time, YES!

Tops on my list for thrift shopping! I'm certain some would say this store is high priced for used clothing items. But that's because they enjoy picking over ridiculous amounts of random, unwanted clothes that have been color coded and hung by gender. Lost & Found Vintage is REAL vintage! Not unwanted and over used clothing purchased last year from WalMart or Target. And the staff is AMAZING!!! I highly recommend.
