Modern Skate & Surf is Michigan's original skate shop, offering a full service shop for skateboards, inline skates, snowboards, roller skates, scooters, and BMX. It provides the best selection of skate shoes and protective gear, with expert staff available for services like snowboard tuning and custom skate builds. The business features a very nice, well-maintained indoor skate park spanning 60,000 square feet. The park is amazing, with a lot of space, big ramps, a really large half pipe, a decent bowl, and a 13-foot tall vert ramp, offering something for all skill levels and types of riders. The layout flows nicely. The plywood/plastic floors are not as hard as concrete and can be a little slippery for inline skates. The park offers lessons and trick bounties, with fair pricing for sessions. Staff is always friendly, accommodating, and expert, often going out of their way to help beginners. Riders in the park are friendly and encouraging. The community roots run deep in Michigan skateboarding. The entrance to the skate park is on the right side of the building, not at the front door where GPS may direct.

I really like this skateboard park went there for my birthday the workers were really nice and cool they put your skateboard together and even let you rent a skateboard and helmet, knee pads, and elbow pads would go again

First time bringing my son here to spend time with friends, he had a blast! I love this for getting him out of the house and to hang with friends and off screens! ❤️
