My son Aiden started here when he was in kindergarten. It was such a great school, he went as far as getting his 3rd degree black belt as a freshman in high school. His goal was to become a Master (4th degree), but high school eventually got in the way. He told me he wants to return to PKSA Royal Oak some day to keep going and hopefully reach his goal. Personally, I think Jeff, Aaron, and Ronnie are absolutely amazing instructors. They are so patient, and the kids will love them.

-Updated-My daughter attended this school as a little ninja, and as she progressed, I became interested in trying it out myself. Four years now and, I LOVE IT!Having earned my black belt, I am further inspired to continue my training a martial artist and a leader. This fall, I will be testing for Kyo Sa Nim (certified instructor), and look forward to the experience. The owner Jeff Jackson is a truly wonderful person that has a great ability to engage students of all ages. His school focuses not only on Tang Soo Do, but he also re-enforces life lessons, self defense, promotes leadership, and personal growth. The school is in a easy to get to location, it is always clean and orderly. You'll find that that the atmosphere is bright and very welcoming. There exists a community spirit and expect to be welcomed by many as you walk in the door. Everyone appreciates what it's like to start at the beginning and are happy to help you excel. This is great for students of all ages and abilities. And, it's also great place for families! We have a number of families that the kids and parents train together!

We have been twice and I was impressed by their approach to teaching kids. Both the owner (Jeff) and the instructor (Ms. Ronni) answer all of our questions and walked us through their approach to teaching martial arts. Greatly appreciated. We're signing up for classes based on how positive our experience has been.

My son started training with Mr. Jeff Jackson at his Kids Power class. He had so much fun that the rest of my family decided to join as well. Mr. Jackson is an amazing instructor and person. He is incredibly skillful and patient. He explains and demonstrates the techniques clearly and at a pace everyone can follow. My family has made so many friends at the Dojang that we look forward to going to class. You will not be disappointed

In short, I love it!To better understand the concept, one must experience it for themselves. My journey began with my daughter attending PKSA Royal Oak and me getting the nudge to check it out for myself. It would be two years before I would make that choice...and so glad that I did. The experience has been so enriching, challenging and exciting...that I look forward to every class. The owner Jeff Jackson provides a great atmosphere for learning and leaves us smiling a sweaty after each class. He is an approachable and genuinely a kind man that cares very much for the art, and his business. He is able to communicate and inspire martial artists at their level.PKSA Royal Oak is a great place for learning Tang Soo Do and is suitable for young children, teens and adults. My name is Aaron Richmond, and I’m proud to call myself a student.

We signed my daughter up for Little Ninjas Class 2 1/2 years ago to boast her confidence. It has made such a positive impact on her. She loves coming to class and talks about having her black belt one day. Both Miss Ronnie and Mr. Jeff are amazing instructors. It really does feel like a family. One of the things I didn't realize they would learn when we signed her up is stranger danger and how to handle a situation. Very informative and gave this Mom some peace of mind. I would recommend this to anyone.

My son is in the Little Ninjas class and loves it. It’s very well-organized, and the instructor Master Jeff is patient and attentive. The class is both fun and educational for my 4-year old. Highly recommend this school.

My son was at PKSA for over a year in the little ninja class. He advanced from a white belt to a yellow belt, and had a blast doing it! Miss Ronnie and her team were awesome with him and all the kids and he looked forward to going to class each week! The little ninja program is great for young kids, definitely age appropriate, and introduces them to karate concepts in a fun and hands on way. We've decided to pursue other sports so we are taking a break from PKSA for now, but look forward to returning in the future. I cannot say enough good things about this school, the teachers, and leadership!

Excellent school and training center. Jeff and Casey are dedicated and go above beyond on a daily basis for their karate family. They maintain a highly competitive and intense school while creating a family atmosphere. They host extra activities such as a friday night kick ball game for everyone to have fun and get to know each better. They are a blessing to all who attend.
