Do not use this pharmacy. On three occasions they’ve either just “missed” a regularly refilled Rx or drop the ball in interactions with the provider. As a patient I shouldn’t have to micromanage the refill process.

Hey pharmacy how about stop keeping me on hold for 20 minutes… it rings and you guys answer and just put me back on hold without even saying a word. Do better. Been coming to this pharmacy for over a decade now and it’s gotten really bad within the last year.

People (?) at pharmacy need to listen, comprehend, and understand English. Was asked three times for mom’s date of birth, then told there were no refills left. Advised the bottle the bottle has 2 refills. Now the current refill is at another store, advised to wait 15 minutes. We called this store yesterday for a refill, not some other store!!! Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere!! Total incompetence

I’ve been trying to get a medication prescribed after surgery. Nothing but excuses from this pharmacy on why they can’t fill this common medication. I received a notification that my medication was finally ready for pickup, but when I arrived to pick it up, this notification was on the window (see picture). Our healthcare systems are supposed to have downtime processes so they can keep functioning when technology fails. My prescription was filled in a bag ready for pickup, but Walgreens Pharmacy does not have a process to operate in downtime and they completely shut down…at minimum limited services should be available.
This is not this first problem I’ve experienced at this Walgreens, but it will be the last. Historically, general customer service is lacking here, pharmacy staff is just unhelpful and they seem annoyed and overwhelmed. There are plenty of other pharmacies in the area to choose from.

So very bad. Sent in a prescription last night around 8pm (before the pharmacy closed), it's now 11:30 the next day and still hasn't been filled. This is a prescription I have taken regularly.
The last time I picked it up, the pharmacy attendant told me "We can't give you this medication because you're allergic to it." ?? I let her know that wasn't true, as I have taken this medication many times, and asked if she could please remove that note from my file moving forward.
A few months later, I've now been waiting nearly half a day to have that same medication filled. I called the pharmacy twice, was placed on hold both times, and after being on hold the second time for 11 minutes, someone answered and yelled "HELLO?" I introduced myself, and before I could continue and ask for the pharmacist, the person said "Yes I already know, you're calling about the bread boxes. It's not ready yet." ..?? I said no, I need to speak to the pharmacy. The person said "Oh sorry" and HUNG UP.
I'm still on hold for the third time. No answer or medication. I don't know who called about bread boxes (online order maybe?) but I hope they get them.
This is the worst Walgreens ever.

As I sit here in the drive thru I'm watching the attendant serve 4 others at the counter before me?Sorry I can't rate lower than 1 star or I would. Looks like alot of others feel the same way. I'll fill my prescriptions somewhere I can get service. Good bye Walgreens for good this time.

Took off my last review so I'm writing another. Online app said in progress/cancel for days for necessary blood pressure med refill. Said call pharmacy. Waited on hold 45 minutes on Sep 27th only to be hung up on. Went to store was told they are busy. Had to wait. Foreign pharmacist rude barely speaks English. GO TO WALGREENS ON WOODWARD IN BIRMINGHAM !!!! took picture of just how busy they were when I got there 5 minutes after I called.

Can I give less than 1 star? The pharmacy keeps cancelling my prescriptions THAT I AM OUT OF AND NEED and I have called them 6 times today, been on hold at least 15 mins each time, then hung up on. I can’t get ahold of anyone in the pharmacy to find out why my medicine is being cancelled. I’m going to end up in the hospital because of this place!!! The staff always has an attitude when I am able to get my prescriptions and it always takes FOREVER to get them when I go to the store. I am going to ZMC in Royal oak who has been highly recommended to me.

I was wowed today by the exceptional service I received from Amelia. I was even more impressed when she told me it was her first day. ? Great hiring Team Walgreens. Amelia was professional, well-trained, courteous, kind and friendly. She knew everything! Kudos to Amelia! ??? If she keeps this up she'll be managing a Walgreens one day.

Absolutely the worst pharmacy. Pharmacist is rude. She debates with customers about their doctors orders. She's dismissive and condescending. Associates never know anything about anything but want you to verify your first born before releasing your medication. (More often than not, their unkempt as if they just left the rave and can't to work.) This even though you're signed up for delivery. They mess up prescriptions and fail to inform or update customer. I'm supposed to be set up for delivery. Yet I have to come to the store for every prescription and go through military clearance. Each time I complain. Each time I'm told it will be fixed.Clearly it's not this store's concern or priority whether or not its customers are properly served.I do not trust this pharmacy. I wish it were possible to rate it a zero. ?
