August 25th, 2023 around 6pm my partner and I went to this 7-Eleven to get slushies like we always do, except we didn’t know this was the last time we’d ever be coming back to this store. It was a lady with glasses and reddish brown hair in a bun with a gray shirt and jeans on and a shorter male with piercings and a staff shirt and jean shorts on that was working the front counter. The lady immediately started following my partner and I and outright staring at us the entire time I got my slush and then proceeds to rudely accuse my partner of being a past thief, she says she has photo proof. We are literally stunned and in disbelief of what this lady was even saying, as neither of us are thieves and come here all the time and use our hard earned money in this place. We are both business owners and work so we were totally confused on how someone could suspect such things. She then proceeds to call the police and her manager…the manager shows up and pulls up a picture of a totally different guy that only has a similar hairstyle to my partner and totally different name! The manager can clearly tell it’s not the same person but no one apologized or anything. It was like a scene from a movie. The police show and tell us to leave. It was absolutely ridiculous. I am not letting this go, it is absolutely absurd and this happens way too often to people of color. It was totally humiliating and embarrassing. I will be following up with the city and filing multiple reports until justice is served. The lady needs to be taken from this store or retrained or get some time off because she handled this situation so poorly and unprofessionally. We will never come back to this store again and will continue to follow up.

The people are great that works there the store sucks because of the food got stopped waiting on people to check the food it's ridiculous big inconvenience but it's the only store in my neighborhood I only go there for cigarettes
