Went in at 8:50 pm to grab some food real quick for dinner, I knew what time they closed and that I would be quick.
No less than 30 seconds of me being in the store a young man with short red hair and a beard came up to me and said “just so you know, we close in ten minutes.” With such a horrible tone. I was taken aback. It’s my birthday and I’m just trying to grab some food during operating hours. I was power walking as well, obviously I understood that aldis was closing in 10 minutes.
Then on the way out he was waiting for me at the door, making it a point to not look at me. I walked passed him and he didn’t say anything , I would expect a goodbye or some sort of professionalism. Especially after being rude and stand offish for no apparent reason.
Never have I been treated like that in a grocery store before for coming in ten minutes before close. I work and have worked in the service industry for 15 years, I know the drill. Absolutely unprofessional and uncalled for.

The staff is always so pleasant and helpful every time I am there. The
reusable bag that I had today, broke out the bottom and the two items i had with glass shattered all over the floor. The manager was so kind and understanding and she let me replace the 2 items that broke. I tried to help her clean it up. She was so very nice. I appreciated her help and letting me replace the items. Thank you for great customer service!

The cashier rushed so fast that when I fat fingered $100 cash back I didn't have time to tell him I didn't want that before he just did it. Didn't confirm with me that I wanted an extra $100 charge. Thanks for the cash dude, and the bank fee.

Rolled into the store appx 720 and was on the last isle when an employee (red hair/beard) announced halfway down the isle " the store is closed" . I said I have one more thing to grab and headed down to grab it and he just stood there staring at me. He had zero expression on his face and was obvious not happy with me. I headed up to pay not finding what i was looking for and he just stood there glaring. The employee checking us out was smiling and talking to us. I didn't even feel comfortable bagging up my groceries as he stood at the door waiting for me to leave with "the glare". I walked by him to exit and he made zero contact I just shook my head. If I treated my customers like that I would be out of business. Now I have to go to Meijer to find that missing item. ?

I absolutely love Aldi, however the "pitted" Tuscan Garden black olives they carry consistently have pits in them and tonight I was lucky enough to literally crack a molar in half on one of the 4 pits we found in the can. The most expensive can of olives in the US and they weren't even covered in gold flake.
