I got fitted for a crown and my temporary crown popped off 4 days after the visit and literally it's so painful, they don't have any emergency visit available within a week. At this point I just want my tooth taken out.

Everything from making the appointment to starting my journey to healthier oral hygiene. I'm terrified of dentist. They made me feel comfortable and I only had the shortest of panic attacks. I felt cared for and not judged or poo pood. Im looking forward to receiving excellent care from my Aspen Dental team.

They were 45 minutes late taking us back for appointment yet let walk ins go before us. The doctor that did a procedure on my man didn’t introduce himself so I don’t even know his name. He also did not explain what he was doing or give ANY warning when giving the anesthetic shot. Disrespectful, rude, and inconsiderate literally just shoving a needle in someone’s gums but can’t even shake their hand.

I hate dentists. I’ll start by saying that. I’m 25 and I have always avoided going to the dentist because of social anxiety and feeling so self conscious about my teeth. Bad genes has caused me to have a horrible time throughout my life with my teeth and just talking to someone about it is extremely hard for me to do. A year or so ago I had my wisdom teeth come in and when they did the top two shattered the molars in front of them. I had my right molar removed from a different dentist here in Saginaw and it was probably the worst experience I’ve ever had. I know my teeth are bad. I brush every day but nothing helps. This other dentist made me feel so bad that it made me procrastinating to the point a year or so down the line the wisdom tooth behind my removed molar has been causing me so much pain over the past few days. Like someone taking a needle in and out of my jaw over and over. For an idea of how bad it is my tooth is down to the same level as my gums so it’s literally just an open nerve. I spent all morning trying to find a dentist, called and called and ended up here. Talked to a lady over their operating line who was super nice and made me an appointment for tomorrow. She told me over the phone that most aspen offices will do a walk-in every now and then if it’s an emergency. So I decided to just go in today and it was probably the best experience I’ve ever had in a medical building. Sierra was extremely sweet. I do believe his name was Ken, the financial advisor, was so welcoming and helpful with my situation. I can’t remember the dentists name…. But he was amazing. I was literally shaking and this guy was talking to me like he knew me for years. Even down to the receptionists Chase. Chase seemed like he fought to get me in today and I can’t express how grateful I am. They made the whole ordeal seem like it was such a breeze. I go back tomorrow and then again on Tuesday and I have to say I’d recommend these guys to anyone. Thank you so so much guys. It’s not a joke when I say these guys MAKE me want to go to the dentist…

I was advised to do a walk in because of a broke tooth. Left work just for them to say they didn’t have anymore emergency walk ins. Scheduled for the next day and was there 3 hours just for them to quote me a $17000 treatment plan and not do nothing about my broken tooth. Staff was nice but didn’t offer any pain medicine like Tylenol or Motrin or even any antibiotics for infection. A waste of using personal time off and not get nothing done at all. At the end of the visit had to sit with a case manager who wanted to schedule me out a whole week for a broken tooth. I don’t care about all that other stuff right now I want my broken tooth removed . Anyhow I will not go back there . Staff was nice and they are more concerned about work that will take weeks and even months to get done. Had they treated my issue I would’ve been more than happy to continue with all the other treatment. Thanks for nothing. Left in pain.

3 Star Rating Reasons:- Ease of appointment scheduling and timely date- Friend front desk staff and x-ray tech- Not-so-friendly, and quite rough hygienist- Long wait times- Expensive, overly detailed treatment plan provided when I went for one specific reason- Dr not overly friendly, but also not rude- Was able to have a second appointment the same day to have issue taken care of- Pain-free extraction of two teeth- Detailed aftercare instructions and healing wellI was able to very easily make an appointment on their website and got in very quickly (the very next day). I had 2 large fillings that had broken and were starting to cause pain. Once I arrived, I did have to wait a little bit - maybe about 15-20 minutes. The girl who took me back to do x-rays was very nice and friendly. I do not recall her name but she was super nice and welcoming and explained their procedure for visits in detail. After x-rays, I was taken to an exam room where I waited another 15-20 minutes (give or take) for a hygienist to come in to do an exam and measure my gums/bones for periodontal disease. Again, I don't recall her name, but she wasn't as friendly, though she was not rude or anything. She was very direct and to the point, but also was quite rough during the exam. I have never experienced pain with someone poking my gums all around every tooth so aggressively! She proceeded to inform that I have periodontal disease; which I have never been diagnosed with prior. She explained that I needed a deep cleaning that would involve numbing and antibiotics over at least two visits. Once she was done, I waited another 20 minutes or so for the Dr. Khaddor to come in and assess. I explained the issues I was having and he examined my teeth and developed a treatment plan. He was also very direct and to the point, and it was determined that those two teeth should be extracted, which I was absolutely ok with. After the dentist, I was sent over to the office manager, Ken to discuss the cost of my treatment plan and payment options. They developed a $5000+ treatment plan for me that included over $2000 for JUST the deep cleaning they said I needed! That price also included a $135 toothbrush! I told the office manager I was only interested in taking care of the two teeth that were causing issues for today. He was very friendly and understanding while he continued to express the importance of the cleaning and the rest of the treatment plan and explained my options for payment; persistent but not overly. Once it was determined I would only be having those two teeth extracted, Ken checked the schedule and was able to schedule me for noon that very same day. So, my initial 8:30 a.m. appointment ended at 11:00 a.m. and I returned at 12:00 p.m. for two extractions. The next appointment went fine; I was numbed effectively, the teeth were removed, I was provided detailed aftercare instructions, and I am healing fine. I left my 12:00 p.m. appointment at 1:30 p.m.

The staff at Aspen Dental were all very professional, friendly, courteous and down to earth . I usually hate dentist appointments but at 47 years old, I must say this was an awesome experience.

Great place to have your work done just have to look past some of the snappy workers they have on staff especially the receptionist but other than that overall great experience would highly recommend 9 out of 10.

Report them to the dental board or nothing will be done. It's scary how they come up with the price! My second opinion saved me over 8 grand, Aspen lied and said I had bone loss and needed a peridontal cleaning done for almost 2500. PBS did a great article on this place. Spot on and you should do your research before going to this place. Very poor communication. Telling me dentist are going out of the practice and only Aspen Dental will be around since no one wants to pay the student loans to be a dentist anymore. Very sales oriented here and check your estimates before you have them do any work. Alan I think his name was in the "financial department" has a office in the clinic and wants you to set up a payment plan ASAP with them. Take the time to look over the estimate at home and call around before signing anything with this place. Make sure they give you an itemized bill also, one of my visits on the bill was over 5 grand just going to the dentist on my bill, no work for that visit just a check up and say it's all good. No thank you. Would not take my pets to this place. I'll go make the drive to my old dentist who actually communicates as well as gives honest reputable prices to their customers. I see why you guys have immediate openings.
