They took wonderful care of my fur baby. They got her in as an emergency when she was really sick. They went above and beyond to make her well again.

This place has gone downhill significantly over the last 5 years. The last 3-4 times I've been there they're overly busy (extremely long wait times) new/different staff every visit. "Doctors" are rude and condescending. Not friendly to your pets which is sad because the old staff were amazing. If you really care about your cat/dog spend a little more and go elsewhere is my recommendation!

If I could leave zero stars, I would. This place is horrible, a money grab and the worst vet clinic I have ever taken my pets to.I’ll start this with my phone call to schedule an appointment for my dog who needed a refill on his 6 month tick and flea meds. In addition, I asked to look at his ears when scheduling the appointment. The woman I spoke with over the phone made it known that they won’t refill meds over the phone if it’s more than 6 months since the last visit (unlike my last vet who always sent an email link to order online without paying them an office fee). These meds are prescribed for 6 months so Banfield charges you $65 office visit to prescribe each time you need a refill. Back to the call.. It took 10 minutes to complete as I had to listen to all the confusing options on office visit costs depending on what vet I made the appointment with, and what type of visit I needed to schedule. So I chose to stick with the prior vet I saw last March to save $ (or thought I would save $).Today I made the visit, scheduled on time for 10:15. Went to a waiting room and promptly discussed what my dog was there for. I was shown many additional treatments and vaccinations I should consider for my pet, and made just as confusing as the phone call earlier in the week. I realized after listening to all this it was a serious push to sell service rather than focus on what my pet was there for. So I cut to the chase and asked for the price, a whopping $800. Nice try on a money grab. After the big sales pitch I left my dog and was told they should be done around 1 1/2 hours and they would call me. I returned early without the call and asked if my dog would be ready soon and was told he was being seen now and they would call when ready. Another 1 1/4 passed as I waited and I asked again irritated as they new I had a grooming scheduled that I was already late for. I was told that they had done the test for the ear infection and the vet would get with me with a plan but it would be another hour before she could verify if my dog was healthy enough for treatment. My dog is a less than 5 year old very healthy black lab. At this point I ask for my dog and my bill which I paid in full $320, which included flea and tic, no other meds included with the ear diagnostics. I asked to speak with the vet wanting to know why she still needed more time to verify if my dog was healthy enough for treatment when she had already had him for over 3 hours. After waiting another 5 minutes I was greeted with a disgruntled face of someone that was clearly irritated with me only to be told that I was the reason she didn’t have time to check his health because I had scheduled with a groomer and needed to leave. So no meds for a dog with a ear yeast infection and I left, and will never go back to Banfield. They’re nothing but money grabbers, are not personable with the pets family and keep your pets in kennels rather than make it a family visit. And to you Ms. Vet, I told you that you weren’t with an F because you’re not.Beware of Banfield.

I’m struggling to justify bringing my pets back here. All the receptionists, assistants, and techs have been nice, especially Ally. She’s the only reason this is 2 stars instead of 1 along with a couple techs I met at pick up last time. My dog went in in May for a dental. I was refused an estimate when they called to confirm the night before. They asked if I wanted radiographs, I told them no because I was told that a dental was included in my wellness plan. No one told me until that morning that radiographs were extra or the price tag with them. They never said they wouldn’t extract the teeth without the radiographs. I was called while she was already awake and informed of this. I asked for the office manager to call me that day. Fast forward two months because that’s how long it was recommended to wait between anesthetic procedures. Scheduled another dental. When they called to confirm her appointment, I asked if I could have an estimated cost. They said no. I asked if I could just have a rough estimate of under or over $1000. She said no, they would tell me at drop off. At drop off, I was told the starting price and then he said it could be $1000-2000 additional. At pick up, I once again to have the office manager call me. Still nothing. I spent $1100 that day when most of it would have been included in her wellness plan if not for the short comings of staff communication. If you cannot effectively communicate to a client or within your staff, how do you expect to effectively practice medicine?

I have had a handful of negative vet experiences in the Saginaw area, and Saginaw Banfield has been my best vet experience so far. I worked with Brittani, Kay, Emma, and Dr. Benson. Everyone has been extremely helpful, empathetic to my concerns, and ensured my trust in their care of my pet.

Predatory Practices. I enrolled my two pets one dog named Max and a Cat names Mr Meepers. Things where fine for the first 3 months. When ai set up my care package I enrolled in auto pay. After three months I would get a text message to contact Banfield. I would call the number in the text link. It would be the pet hospital and they would remind me that one of them had a check up coming. So I would schedule and things would carry on as normal. Two days ago I get a letter in the mail saying g they canceled Max's care package and I could no longer get his heart worm Medicine. After two days of phone called. The administration official I spoke to said I owed the hole year. I refused. I would pay for the months we used. After more arguments. I won. I'll pay for the three months I owed and canceled the cats care plan.

They are amazing! I had to lay my baby Daisy May to rest 12/26/22, they were very compassionate, and helpful. Because of them I was able to get her cremated and I will recommend everyone to them! Thank you guys so much for everything! ?

They have a bit of an issue with overbooking appointments and it turns into long waits in the lobby on top of leaving your pet for longer.4 dogs in the lobby waiting and more on the way with the long waits. If your pet has a problem with other pets try and schedule earlier on.

They got me in 8 days sooner than the vet clinic I usually use. Everyone there was super nice... Was literally in-and-out with the quickness.. And the tomcat I brought in was happy.. All in all a 10 out of 10 experience
