It's been years sense I have been to a family dollar store so when I seen it was one on my walk trying to explore the area where I just recently moved I was happy.... apond getting to the store and going in side....it was a little bigger then most I have been too and they have item other family dollar store wouldn't have...I love to decorate so seeing item I can do DiY project with was surprising... will shop here again in future

place is kept organized and all together thanks to the manager and staff. good especially during this pandemic. seen them sanitizing carts handles and counter tops and that is fantastic to know they care.

super irritated yesterday I bought two boxes of dryer sheets I called them this morning to tell them that I only come home with one box and she says that's not their responsibility once we leave the stores it's ours okay well what if the bag was left behind the counter and she accidentally gave it to the next customer that wouldn't be my fault! She was super rude on the phone I will never go back there ever again!

I have resided in Bridgeport Township for 17 years and have never encountered an issue until this evening. I stopped by the store to return a bluetooth head set that I purchased three days ago to use at work. I purchased other Bluetooth in the past and only had issues with the first pair as it never turned on. My second and third pair worked fine but after daily wear and tear they developed a shortage. I decided to take the new pair back today and invest in a better quality Bluetooth set. The store manager informed me of their store policy which was fine. However, I indicated that I have my receipt and did not want an exchange because I wanted to try something different. Needless to say, my refund was granted with the understanding that I will not buy those again. The problem occurred when I walked away from the register. It appears that the female casher and her male manager did not know that I remained in the store or that I was so close to the front of the store. I walked toward the front and made them aware that I could hear them talking about me. The manager had mentioned that I was not understanding him and he did not know if I was "special" or something. The cashier stated that she couldn't understand why I would continue to buy the bluetooth after problems with the first pair. The manager corrected his wrong and apologized. I later asked the cashier why she waited until I walked away to ask why would I buy another pair? She presented as rude and defensive as if I was in the wrong. I also told her that it was not good customer service to talk about customers while they are shopping. This cashier did not apologize for her behavior. Instead, she justified her actions by saying she's telling me to my face now! Wow!!! Well, I told her that I have seen so many cashiers come and go over the years and she is by far the rudesst of them all! I also called to speak with the manager to share my feedback. I figured I might as well give him a call as this will not be my last time shopping there and I don't want further problems or misunderstandings. My 1 star is based upon my experience today, not overall.
