Very poor attitude at desk in store service minimum also repaired chair I bought with in a year cost over 1000 was totally fixed on wensday not getting back until Monday morning with several phone calls and no accommodation

No pressure shopping. What more could you ask for? Knowledgeable sales staff, and what they didn’t know off hand was able to find out information quickly. Have purchased many items from here and plan to do so in the future.

I would never go back to Godwins ever again! I ordered and paid for a TV stand and couch. It took more than 6 months for the couch to come in. When they finally delivered the couch it was broken. The customer service was completely terrible. Nobody seemed to have any answers, I would call and ask for updates and I would get the run around. Same ole excuses everytime: The person that handles this is on vacation. There is no way I can look anything up, we don't have access to orders. You need to speak with your sales associate. Oh I'm sorry your sales associate isn't in, I will leave a message. I will have the manager call you back, she's on vacation, again. It was always the blame game, nobody giving any answers or taking responsibility. I finally received my "new replacement couch" 7 months later. They delivered me a chair! I had to once again wait and setup another delivery for the right couch to be delivered. I have asked to speak to the manager, have called there and still haven't heard back from anyone. I received the new couch about a month ago. I had asked the manager to call me so we could discuss what had happened. Haven't heard from anyone. The delivery guys were always excellent. Extremely polite and were genuinely apologetic of the inconveniences. Outstanding service from the front line people. Management and in store employees need some re-education. (Bay Rd location) Due to this experience I will never go back to any Godwins no matter which location. As a customer I did not feel valued or respected.

I will never order from this place again. March 2nd will be 11 months since we ordered couch, loveseat, chair, and ottoman. We were told July of last year and than September and now end of February. I called them to see if it was in since it’s towards the end of the month and they can’t find the couch and said must be a computer glitch.

I went in to buy the chair in their sales flyer on state street, sold out of the warehouse already, shows me more expensive chair I say fine, I take this one, then goes to the desk, comes back says this chair is on order 4 months wait. ok can I have this one I'm sitting in? The answer is No because we can't sell off the showroom. thanks for the info, bye now ")

Sales was fine (Linden Rd/Flint), until I had an issue. Their 3-day return policy is not as was represented, and although willing to exchange they wanted to charge $300. But it's their service department out of Saginaw that is the JOKE! Their tech...will call her 'camo/biker Susie' was here twice. Didn't seem to know much about the problem our Lazy Boy had, even pretended not to hear the noise that needed repair. Uncooperative on wearing a mask or removing shoes/wearing covers. Did not care about us (health) or respect for our home. WILL NOT USE GODWIN'S EVER AGAIN!!

Had to order at 1 location and pick up at another.. swivel base was added to recliner at second location . All went smooth was ready when I got to second location...
