I came here about a year and a half ago with my very sick dog and little finding in hand, they initially turned us down so we found an organization willing to cover her medical bills, we showed back up there, and even though we could cover costs now they treated is entirely differently. Ariel, my dog, was misdiagnosed with congestive heart failure. They put her on a medication and sent us on our way, even with the condition she was in. Ariel passed after a full night of seizures a few days later. We were an hour away from home trying to get her into the nearest vet yet again to take her, but because of this place, she didn't even make it. It was later revealed that she never had heart failure and the medication they put her on, killed her. It slowly shut down her body because there was no failure there to treat. I had that dog since i was 4 years old, i was 17 at the time of putting her down, and she was healthy as a horse before a measly cough started. Be careful where you take your animals, and always keep up and watch ANY effects of any new meds. This was unavoidable on our end, we were on the phone daily with new specialists every day. But I would hate for anyone else to lose their baby to the same fate Ariel seen. It took me a long timw to come on this page and say something, but I'm glad to get it out there, I hope my story helps just ONE person out there. Have a lovely day to anyone who made it this far.

Just thought I'd pass this along in case anyone's horse needs chiropractic care. My horse Indy saw Dr Liz Routh today and she did an amazing job with Indy. Not only was she great at the chiropractic manipulation, she was also kind and approached Indy with patience. She earned Indy's trust and Indy loved the treatment and Dr. Liz.

I have a red mare who's extra spicy. We need to sedate her when she needs her teeth floated. At SVEC they have always done a fantastic job accommodating to our needs. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, clean facility, and I love seeing the babies there in the spring.

If I could give 10 stars I would. Not only is the entire staff very professional but they are also incredibly kind and knowledgeable. I have always had a positive experience for whatever interaction I have no matter who I have dealt with, from the office staff to the doctors. Thank you SVEC!

We have been taking our horses and ponies here for years. We have experienced everything from sand colic, choking, lameness exams, hock injections and SI injections in addition to well check visits. We have worked with Dr. Brad, Dr. Liz, Dr. Scott and multiple vet techs and assistants (Paige and Sam Rock!) and have never had a bad experience. They listen to our issues and coach us through multiple options. Hands down we are SO lucky to be so close to SVEC.

I cannot say enough kind words. A gorgeous and clean facility with the nicest, friendliest staff. You feel right at home and part of the family. Dr. Brad was phenomenal and very knowledgeable. They all were wonderful and caring with my laminitic mare. Thorough and great at making you understand exactly what is going on. I highly recommend them!

I just picked up both of my reining show horses from being bred. The clinic had specific instructions to keep them both blanketed in the cold weather and to not turn them out because one was on stall rest per Dr. Brad’s instructions and one had slide plates on, is slicked out and is due to show at the NRBC derby in 3 weeks. The one going to show at NRBC was turned out and was a muddy mess in 40 degrees. The other was inside where it is not over 50 deg slicked out with no blanket. Also, my wife had specifically told the tech no turnout after she was asked. In fact the tech had suggested turning out my mare on stall rest. Paying attention to detail is important. I just hope they are bred. The vet tech was very dismissive and said to have our local vet check them instead of bringing them back. I have spent thousands at Saginaw Valley and I respect Dr. Brad, but this is unacceptable.

Just wanted to give a shout out to Dr.Brad and his great staff today. With their help and understanding I sent my Resonate over the rainbow bridge. Not only were they professional, but very caring in each step of the way. From the x-rays, diagnosis and outcome, they were absolutely wonderful. Thank you everyone
